How can I heat up my house if I don't have any electric heater

First way:

  1. Close all of your windows properly.
  2. Use cheap clear shower curtains over the windows that receive sunlight.
  3. Put up curtains. A set of heavy curtains can block heavy drafts of air. Open them when the sun is shining and close them when it's not.
  4. Seal your doors. Check around the door frame and also under the door.
  5. Let as much sun hit your house as possible. Check for obstructions (e.g. plants, sheds) that might keep the sun's rays from reaching your house
  6. Close off any unused rooms.
  7. Put down a rug or carpet. Rugs and carpets help prevent heat loss through the floor.
  8. Light a candle. A candle/candles can produce a lot of heat, just be mindful of where they are placed and do not leave them unattended.

Second way:

  1. Drink warm beverages. Warm beverages will raise your core temperature. The process can be very relaxing and even stimulating. Make a cup of tea or coffee.
  2. Dress warmly.
  3. Use smaller rooms. If, for example, you have a bedroom that is much smaller than your living room you could choose to use it as your bed-sitting room.
  4. Exercise. 20 minutes of vigorous exercise can warm you up and keep you warm well after the exercise session.
  5. Use a hair dryer. Quickly spot-heat parts of your body, or your cold shoes or clothes before donning.
  6. Consider using an electric blanket. An electric blanket can keep you very warm and comfortable in the night and it is more economical that an inefficient and expensive old wall heater.

Elevator pitch

An elevator pitch, elevator speech, or elevator statement is a short description of an idea, product, company, or oneself that explains the concept in a way such that any listener can understand it in a short period of time. This description typically explains who the product/company is for, what it does, why it is needed, and how it will get done. For the latter, when explaining an individual, the description generally explains one’s skills and goals, and why they would be a productive and beneficial person to have on a team or within a company/project. An elevator pitch does not have to include all of these components, but it usually does at least explain what the idea, product, company, or person is and why it/they are valuable. An elevator pitch can be used to entice an investor, executive in a company, or explain an idea to a founder’s parents. The goal is simply to convey the overall concept or topic in an exciting way. Unlike a sales pitch, there may not be a clear buyer/seller relationship. The name—elevator pitch—reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.

  1. Identify Your Goal. Start by thinking about the objective of your pitch. For instance, do you want to tell potential clients about your organization? Do you have a great new product idea that you want to pitch to an executive? Or do you want a simple and engaging speech to explain what you do for a living?
  2. Explain What You Do. Start your pitch by describing what your organization does. Focus on the problems that you solve and how you help people. If you can, add information or a statistic that shows the value in what you do.
  3. Communicate Your USP.
  4. Engage With a Question. After you communicate your USP, you need to engage your audience. To do this, prepare open-ended questions (questions that can't be answered with a "yes" or "no" answer) to involve them in the conversation.Make sure that you're able to answer any questions that he or she may have.
  5. Put It All Together.
