It is important to remember to measure beds and/or refer to manufacturers' details for all mattresses, bed frames, and box-springs to ensure products are not mismatched. Nonstandard sizes, particularly very thick mattresses, also sometimes require different bed sheets. The most common nonstandard queen mattress sizes are as follows: Olympic queen (a.k.a., expanded queen) mattresses measure 66" x 80" (167.6 cm x 203 cm), making them a full six inches wider than the standard.
