Can I use my box-springs with your mattress? Memory Foam mattresses requires a solid flat surface on which to be placed to maintain the mattress integrity. a newer Box Spring foundation without any misshaped coils within, you may use a 3/4"" piece of moisture-resistant plywood to place on top of the foundation as support for the mattress to satisfy the warranty requirements. Memory Foam is highly resilient with quick rebounding characteristics. Think about how a cleaning sponge reacts when compressed by squeezing it with your hand. It readily returns to its full original shape upon release of the compression. High resiliency Memory Foam that we use in our mattresses reacts in the same way. It is much more efficient to compact wrap and ship a Memory Foam mattress in this fashion, as well as for ease of handling once it is received.
When the mattress is released from the compacted wrap and box it was originally placed in, it will come to full created size within a relatively short period of time.A new mattress is needed because when you sleep on an old mattress you miss out on the good sleep and support your mind and body needs to wake refreshed in the morning. Manufacturer warranties require a matching mattress and box spring/foundation. Also for your safety it is imperative to have the matching mattress and box spring/foundation to be Fire Retardant Compliant.King 76"X80" Custom sizes including Twin XL (39”x80”), California King (72”x84”) and split queen box springs are not available online but can be purchased in a local Mattress Firm store or by calling 1-866-MAT-FIRM. Most mattresses are now no flip which means it will continue to give you comfort and support without having to flip it or rotate it.
