This thisAs a local, I can hardly tell the difference between well-known and lesser-knows sights cause I don’t really read any foreign guidebooks on the city.
Yet, I can tell you about several of my favourite places that are probably missing from most books and guided tours.
- Moscow Cathedral Mosque on Olimpiysky Avenue. Grand and most stunning, it reflects the religious diversity of Russia that is home to more than 20–25 mln Muslims - a detail that you might easily forget when visiting dozens of orthodox churches which is what you do on a typical Moscow city tour.
- The photo was taken on Kurban Bayram Day.
