Basic qualifications: 

• Experienced in the use of Internet, e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teamsites, “One Pager”, Visio and MS Project

• Knowledge and experience of managing and interrogating large complex data bases and spreadsheets

• Able to manage diverse routine and ad hoc administrative projects simultaneously using creativity and independent judgement

• Previous experience in a marketing function or of event management desirable

• Fluent English


Preferred qualifications: 

• Evidence of competency level for Microsoft applications

• Knowledge and experience of GSK


Details: 

The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a VP GM . 

• Provide & co-ordinate PM support activities for the PMO, principally: planning and co-ordinating project meetings, events, management meetings including all materials, locations, travel and liaison with multiple markets

• Manage ad hoc projects following established project ways of working under the guidance of the Project Director and or project team

• Provide support with preparing monthly project updates

• Attend client meetings when required and assist with determination of project requirements 

• Prepare project organization and communication charts

• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team 

• Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner 

• Maintain Reporting Pages 

• Track & manage actions/milestones/risks/issues 

• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others 

• Keep the Project team and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations 

• Design and prepare PowerPoint presentations, excel spreadsheets and provide expert advice to the team on the use of PowerPoint, Excel and other software used within the Department

• Develop and maintain distribution lists for internal and external contacts
