This privacy policy sets out how ePDF uses and protects any information that you give ePDF when you use this website, the ePDF web application, and the ePDF API.

ePDF is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

The guiding privacy principle at ePDF is to only ever collect the bare minimum of data required to provide our service. Your information will never be sold to anyone, and ePDF does not track users through the websites onto which it is installed.

The lawful basis for collecting this data is Legitimate Interest as defined by GDPR. This data is used to allocate the closest server.

ePDF creates a fresh virtual machine for each PDF, which is subsequently destroyed once the screenshot has been saved. ePDF securely deletes the data once the ePDF has been created and sent. The PDF created by the API is never stored.

All data transfers between your computer and ePDF’s servers are encrypted using industry standard SHA-256 with RSA End-to-End Encryption.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We understand that no website can every be 100% secure, and in the unlikely event that ePDF’s security is breached and personal data is compromised, both the relevant supervisory authority and anyone affected by the breach will be notified within 72 hours of our becoming aware.
