Please instal an overhead Water Tank to supply water for use by Clients all the time . There is nothing that can be done about the actual location.....which is too difficult to find for new guests ! The driver who drove me from Zaria on Friday on 13 January 2017 took nearly 2 hours to find the right location of Magnolia !!! instal clearly marked Sign Boards along the routes to the hotel from strategic positions in the locality . It would be in your best interest to pay attention to this suggestion as to how to find Magnolia's location ! THANKS .눇The Room was really nice
눇The hotel was completely rubbish. No dstv, no intercom, no light, no water. 눉Honestly, no amount of words could possibly do justice to this place. I know the price is attractive, but it really isn't worth it. -I'd booked this place previously and arrived there to find that no room was reserved for me. So I called in advance and lo and behold, the same thing. Fortunately, they found one available. -Upon arrival, the "receptionist" was at a loss to who I was and what I was doing there. -Pretty much no lights in the room worked; I had to ask that the lights be fixed before I moved in. -After having asked that my room be sprayed with insecticide, there was no attempt to sweep away the inevitable dead insects on the floor. -The last straw was the unavailability of running water, which they sought to assuage by providing water in rickety, rusty buckets. At this point I just left.눇The location, but this is equivalent to staying at the pigsty in Buckingham Palace.
눉No intercom in the rooms.눇The serene atmosphere and the friendly staffs coupled with nice breakfast every morning. 눇Truly homely, truly comfy! 눇The place was peaceful 눇It was great, I felt welcomed and comforted by the staff at my arrival and it felt like a home away from home. 눉Management/owner needs a wake-up call, quite irresponsible I must say. I am yet to receive a refund four weeks after checked out, leaves a sour experience.눇Staff were truly friendly, warm, nice and ever willing to help. 눉Every thing눇No running water in the rooms, no intercom service with poor quality cable TV reception. 눉The boss (a young muslim woman) is only after the money, not the comfort of the guess. I did not get the wifi password in 4 days, as the boss promised to give. The boss said breakfast was only for 1 person, when it was 2 of us. Breakfast was just a tea, a slice of bread and an omelette, no other choice. And only one breakfast was served as the other had not been paid in advance.
It is not really a hotel but a house with rooms. No computer at reception. The boss comes the first day and collects the money by hand. Then leaves the poor staff to deal with all as she disappears not to be seen again. Electrecity fails everyday for a few hours, this is common in Nigeria, but the boss said that had its own petrol generator, but still electricity was gone for a few hours everyday. If the "2 for all "girls at reception contact the boss, it seems that she is never available (and lives next door). This "hotel " in the western world would be 1 or 2 stars. I know hotels in Abuja, are over priced, and this one is not expensive, but many small things need to be done to improve it just a little and make it ok.눇The area was quiet, but not so easy to find. The 2 girls at reception are nice, friendly and do everything from reception, cleaning, washing up,...sleep 24 hours at the place ( but I must say they working hours would be unacceptable for western people ).
