Honestly, the chances of that happening are slim to none. You might want to re-think replacing the entire door - sash & all. Unless there's something weird about the set-up, it's not as difficult as you'd think. Honestly, this isn't too terribly helpful. There are still too many variables involved. Some doors have two hinges, some three. There really is no margin for error on the hinges, though you can cut new dadoes into the frame, or maybe even the door itself. I would say, with about 90% certainty, that the door frame is not supporting any of the brick weight. Unless it is a very unusual door frame, it is less than 1" thick, and there simply isn't any strength to support anything. I would suggest taking exact measurements of your existing door - including placement of the latch and deadbolt, and exact measurements of the hinges. Then go do some measuring on the new door you're wanting to use. We can speculate all we want, but that's apt to tell you more than anything.
