The pools have the obligatory hard surfaces directly around the pools, but then they open up into greener pastures and plenty of decorative foliage. We don't get a lot of opportunities to use the word "foliage" in the desert, so we're pretty psyched about that. But we're more psyched about Flamingo's pools.It's a sprawling paradise of pools, lounge chairs and three bars stocked with frozen margaritas and all sorts of other drinks. There's a sand volleyball court, a waterfall, more palm trees than you could shake a frond at and plenty of totally danceable music.For an adults-only swim, the Flamingo offers up its Go Pool, a private pool for those 21 years old and older complete with its own bar and DJ.
The Go Pool cabanas offer all the same amenities as the regular pool cabanas, plus an Xbox 360 -- because why not? We love pool clubs. Beach Chaise Lounge and Umbrella Set RentalFrom the comfort of your private beach chaise lounge and umbrella set, enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the world-famous Diamond Head. All of our beach sets face the ocean, and allow our guests to take in the sights and sounds of Waikiki while soaking up the Hawaiian sun. Each private beach set includes the use of one umbrella and two chaise lounges for the duration of the day. The fee is $40 per day plus tax. Advanced reservations are highly recommended. Reserve a Beach Set Note: Changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of a cabana and/or a beach set reservation will result in a full charge to the guest. Guests of The Royal Hawaiian may enjoy the tranquil Jacuzzi beside the Malulani pool, as well as the two Jacuzzis at Helumoa Playground. Please note that there are no lifeguards on duty at the Malulani Pool or the Helumoa Playground. Parents are advised to keep a close eye on their children. Beach and Pool Ambassadors are available daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Poolside Food and Beverage Service is available for your convenience. This oasis features four large sections of pool area totaling 19,000 square feet. The pool deck at Luxor is one of the largest in Las Vegas with 125,650 square-feet of space. Register with our attendants for complimentary towels, lounge chairs and enjoy the personal service of our poolside beverage attendants. Pool is Closed for Season. Jacuzzis are still open. Free: All Luxor Hotel guests must present room key upon entry. Locals & Non-hotel Guests There is a complete poolside retail shop for swimwear, sunglasses, sun care products and casual wear. Poolside food and beverage service is available for guests at the Oasis Terrace Snack Bar and Pool Bar. Cocktail service is available throughout the pool complex.Locals and non-hotel guests may also purchase the use of a cabana. 6 wristbands will be included in the price; additional guests must purchase a wristband, maximum 10 per cabana. Luxor now offers a wristband for purchase at the spa for use of the pool area.
The cost of the wristband is $15 per person for locals and $20 per person for non-hotel guests, children under 5 are free. All minors must be accompanied by a paying adult. Luxor also features a Paid Access Only Area from May - September. Guests may gain access to the area for the day by renting a cabana, daybed, VIP chair or regular chair within the area. Reservations are taken for cabanas and daybeds only. VIP seating is offered on a first come first serve basis. Guests in this area will have a cabana host to help with any requests. Complete food and beverage service is also available at an additional cost. During this time, the entire deck will be open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. 3 pools will open at 9 a.m., with the last pool opening at noon. All cabana guests are required to check in by 10:00 AM the day of their cabana. We do offer cabanas to our wait list or re-sell at 10:30 AM. We require 24 hour notice for cancellations and/or changes to the reservation. Cancellations and/or changes made within that time period are subject to cancellation charges. We charge half the reservation price for all cabanas and daybeds that cancels within 24hrs. All no shows are charged full price. Weather – inclement weather is not always predictable. We do not reimburse due to weather. Should the weather decide to be of unsuitable conditions which cause our deck to be unsafe for guests and staff we will close. We can however, cancel without penalty the day of the reservation for weather purposes. Cancellation without penalty must be done prior to checking in. With that said more times than not, we do re-open when deck and water conditions are safe for our guests and staff. Upon reopening all cabanas and VIP seating are welcome to return to their rentals for the remainder of the day. Please note that guests will be permitted to bring 1 beverage with them inside the pool, as long as it is in a plastic or aluminum container. In addition, please note that the following items will NOT be permitted inside the pool: Coolers of any type or size From the Parking Garage Walk across the walkway, enter the hotel and walk down the stairs.
