We recommend changing your mattress every 7 - 10 years. You especially need to purchase a new mattress if your current one sags or creaks, you can feel the springs beneath the surface, or you wake up with aching joints.Handy tips for buying your mattressTry before you buy. We always recommend that you visit one of our shops to try out a mattress before ordering. Check it’s wide enough to allow both partners to lie side by side, hands behind heads, without elbows touching. A mattress should be at least 10cm longer than the tallest person who will be sleeping on it.
