The 1500 series which I purchased included instructions for cutting the frame down. I suggest you download the instruction from the Johnson Hardware site and see what those modifications would do for the entire frame width. What adapter kit do I need for converging doors using two 1500 series frames? I'll be getting 36x80. Unless you have already purchased the pocket door kit, I suggest you contact Johnson Hardware directly. They have kits which are designed for different configurations. If Home Depot carries the kit, it will be less expensive there, than buying directly from Johnson Hardware. Does this frame fit a 2x4 wall It fits within the 4" thick wall.
