I cant believe Im saying this about a Kyo Maclear book, but The Good Little Book felt merely okay to me. It was sweet, sure, and there were some nice lines about what a book can mean to a person, even if they dont think of themselves as a book person, but it felt like it went on a little too long.Marion Arbonas artwork is detailed and colourful, and shes clearly talented, but some pages worked for me, while others didnt. The colour palette as a whole didnt really appeal to me.A merely okay Kyo Maclear book is still pretty darned good, but I expected to love this one more than I did.NB: I received a free galley copy of The Good Little Book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
