WARNING: Russian translation of "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success" has a lot of distortions. It looks like the translators didn't understand your work and kept their fixed mindsets. Can I have your permission to translate the book into Russian?

Thank you and your colleagues very much!

I am a graduate student at Moscow State University, faculty of Physics. Your work is the panacea for me. It's proved by months of happiness and progress without the usual stress since the time I read "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success".

I made some of my family members and friends to buy a Russian translation of the book, but most of them failed to understand the meaning of your theory. A small investigation revealed why.

Please, look at these reverse translated sentences:

1. For twenty years of my research, I was convinced that the views a person sticks to can radically change its way of life.
2. No book has ever explained mindsets.
3. In this book, you’ll learn how a single simple thought about yourself ..
4. Attempts, mistakes, endeavors were just not part of this picture.
5. Already in my childhood I knew that you need to be smart.
6. To some of us, a similar mindset is planted from an early age.
7. And wasn’t the IQ test created to define children’s "given by God" mental abilities?
8. People may start with different temperaments and different aptitudes, but it is clear that experience, training, and personal effort can help them to bridge the gap.
9. Now, how would they cope? Easy!
10. What is there to do?! You know, when I wrote this chapter, I intentionally made the grade a C+, not an F.
11. I want to share my findings with you.
12. It’s one thing to have pundits spouting their opinions about different high matters.

My conscience will kill me for leaving it as is, so I desire to make my own translation in which the accuracy of conveying the meaning and emotions has the highest priority.

I am not asking to sell copies of the book, either in translation or in its original form, for any profit. I only want to make it possible for Russian people to understand the theory of mindsets. My nation is suffering from fixed mindsets. I can see it everywhere.
