There’s a new gaming chair on the market in Japan, claiming to be ergonomic and posture correcting. But is it true? Limited news released so far says the Buddy chair “helps you maintain good posture” and encourages gamers “to sit near the screen“. There are several factors to keep in mind when picking your ergonomic chair. However, today’s focus is only about the height of the chair seat. Your legs should always be supported while sitting. Finding the right seat height is the most complicated and most crucial… According to J Paul Lee of the University of California, Davis, work-related injuries cost our economy about $192 billion annually*. There are 23,000 on-the-job injuries in the United States every single day. That’s over 8.5 million injuries annually. This is a huge burden on the economy, employers, individuals and families.
