This Rocking Royal Adirondack Chair is made of full 1” clear, western red cedar. Our artisans designed these chairs to be sturdy when locked upright, and yet they fold easily, for moving and storage. Above all, the Rocking Royal Adirondack Chair provides the ultimate comfort, as it is two inches wider than a first class airline seat! Many People refer to Adirondack chairs in other terms such as a Cape Cod Chair, a Muskoka, Hampton, Lawn, Laurentian or even a Patio Chair. Most of these terms refer to the same style of chair. Many companies try to make cheap, imitation lawn chairs or they sell Adirondack chairs, (cheaply made in Asia), and export them here. We handcraft all of our products in our Ottawa workshop, using the very best materials available. Just remove the rockers and your chair will easily fold for easy storage! We made minor adjustments to our chairs over the last 20 years. We have been consistently tweaking the Royal Muskoka chair to perfection, until we find just the right design for aesthetic beauty and ultimate comfort, without losing the traditional look of the Adirondack Chair. 32” by 32” (81 cm x 81 cm). The seat is a generous 22” (56 cm) wide. The entire unit folds up to approximately 12” x 32” x 46” (30cm x 81 cm x 117 cm) for easy storage in inclement weather. Great with a matching two position footrest or a side table. We work around the clock to provide the fastest delivery possible. Orders are usually shipped within 4-8 weeks from the time we receive the order. Expect longer waiting times during peak season. All products are shipped by FedEx Ground for the continental USA and Canada and FedEx Air freight for world wide orders. Additional shipping cost for overseas and European orders are determined in a per order basis. We will not process overseas orders before confirming with you the total additional shipping costs. Special note that we now have special rates with FedEx air freight for International orders, so orders shipped outside of North America can be received within a week of shipping at a very reasonable additional rate.
During our peak season in the early spring and summer months orders may be subject to longer delivery time frames. If you require your furniture for a special occasion then please let us know upon ordering and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. We will however not rush production of any of our products or lessen our quality for expediency.
