OXO Tot Sprout High Chair First Time ParentWorking ParentStay at Home ParentTeacherLove the chairEasy to clean, roomy, good looking and not take so many space in my dining roomN/AWe went to the store to let my six month old daughter sit both OXO sprout and Stokke high chair, she seems more comfortable sitting in OXO sprout high chair instead of letting her legs hanging there when she sat on Stokke high chair. We both think she will enjoy her meal time if she can sit properly and comfortably. The tray is really easy to push in and take it out and is very smooth to click. It's so easy to clean the high chair without any cushions create the hiding spots that I might find a piece of bread a year later! I am pretty happy the chair can grow with my baby until 7 years old. I don't think it's necessary to get a fancy chair grow up with her but she can't enjoy sitting on it for the first couple years.fortable, 5 point harness, relatively easy to cleanFood gets stuck in the velcro seat spots, pads are costly to replace and wear out quicklyI really like this chair.

It is not a big hunk of plastic (aka eyesore), with a streamlined, functional design. I hate that the replacement pads cost $50, especially since we needed ours replaced after only 8 months. This thing gets cleaned thoroughly after meals, too, it's not like we left food on the cushions for days. I chose this over other wood high chairs because of the 5 point harness, and would recommend this but would mention the costliness of cushion replacement.Stay at Home ParentCould be greattray removal, sturdy, comfortableclean up is a nightmareMy biggest (and really only) complaint about this high chair is the clean up. The removable padded seat has too many cracks and crevices for food to get into. Although the padded seat is removable, it's attached with velcro so it's impossible to pull it away from the molded plastic part of the seat without spilling all of the food on the floor. The pieces of velcro are attached to the molded plastic seat in the worst possible place - right at the spot where you would brush crumbs off the seat - thus getting crumbs and food stuck in the velcro.

I think there is *still* salmon in the velcro on mine and anything I've used to clean the velcro (sponge, paper towel, rag) ends up stuck in it too. First Time ParentWorking ParentEasy to useone-handed tray removal, cushions wipe down and clean easily, adjusts for growthstrap at crotch bar does not remove for launderingThis has been a great chair so far. Baby is 11 months so we haven't adjusted it for a larger child, but this chair fits an infant well, the tray zooms in and the seat shape keeps him from slumping or sliding down. I love how easy the cushions are to wipe down. The cushions and the shoulder straps come out and can be thrown in the laundry. My only complaint is the crotch strap does not detach so some food accumulates around that and can be tricky to clean, still it's much less than other seats we've tried. The tray can be adjusted or removed with one hand, great when you're holding a squirming baby. The plywood construction is sturdy and has a clean modern look.First Time ParentWorking ParentLove this chair!

Comfortable, easy to clean, attractive, sturdy, grows with childtray not dishwasher safeWe got this high chair when our son was about 6 months old and we have absolutely loved it! It seems comfortable for him to sit in, it's sturdy and safe, and it looks cute in our dining room (which is at the entry to our home). It's easy to clean and I like how the pads come right off so you can clean underneath them if need be. I suppose the one down side is that you can't put the tray in the dishwasher (or at least I don't think you can), but that's not a big deal to me since we don't run our dishwasher nightly, anyway. Our son is now 15 months old and we're starting to pull him up to the table occasionally without using the tray and that's nice, too. I think we'll use that feature more as he gets better at using a spoon and fork- for now it's pretty messy! Overall great chair and I think it's worth the price.Parent of Two or More ChildrenWorking ParentLove love itEasy to move, perfect hight, easy tray adjust, easy to cleanFood can get easily stuck between the chair pad and the chairI love this high chair.

We bought this for our second child who is now 8 months old. The highchair for our first son started to wobble after 1 year. This is still stable in every way. It's easy to clean with the exception of the area under the chair pad.First Time ParentWorking ParentWe love the SproutStylish, Size, easy to cleanWe love our Sprout. We had a hard time finding a chair for our little one. Features that we wanted: stylish, clean design, smaller size, easy to clean and something that our child can use for a few years. After deciding on a much more expensive chair that had many accessories, (for additional cost, of course!) we found the Sprout! We love the easy to clean tray and cushion. We feel comfortable leaving it out in our dining room full time as it it isn't too baby-ish. We also love the height of the chair. If you are researching chairs, but sure to take a look at the Sprout.Parent of Two or More ChildrenBest piece of baby gear purchasedsmall footprint, stylish, functional, grows with child, tray easy to remove and cleanstraps are hard to keep cleanMy husband and I agree that amongst all of the gear that we chose for our first child, the Sprout Chair was one of the best purchases.

We live in a small space and the chair pulls up nicely to our dining room table and doesn't require any additional storage space as it is more like a piece of real furniture-- not a total eye sore in our dining room. We started having our daughter use the tray which is easy to clean and remove, but by the time she turned one, we just pulled the chair up to the table. The chair is sturdy and well made and will certainly last us through our second little one as well. The seat is easy to remove for cleaning and wipes down easily. The only drawback: the straps are made of nylon webbing and are a little difficult to keep clean. We remove them occasionally to soak to fully remove remnants of meals past. This is not a big deal and we would prefer this maintenance to dealing with the multiple cracks and crevices of other highchairs on a daily basis. We love our OXO sprout and recommend it enthusiastically.First Time ParentStay at Home ParentReally happy with purchaseSleek design, easy to clean, comfortableDoesn't recline for smaller babies, tray occasionally stainsI am really happy with this high chair.

I didn't want one of the big, bulky plastic high chairs, so I bought the OXO one because it blends in more with our kitchen and dining room and it has a small footprint and sleek design. My daughter is 14 months and has been using it since 6 months. She seems comfortable in it and I like that she is at table level with us when we eat. The tray comes off easily with one hand and the tray and seat cushions are easy to wipe off. There's no fabric to worry about cleaning. The tray occasionally stains with some foods (carrots, spaghetti sauce) but it usually fades away after a few more uses. I think that this chair is really well-designed and solidly built and a great value overall.First Time ParentSturdy chair evolves as your child growsStrength, quality construction, durability, adjustability, simple elegant lookTray much easier to clean than the seat; area under seat not easy to cleanOutstanding item. Flexible--seat height adjusts as your child grows. Tray removes and wipes clean easily.

Look is nice, modern and sleek. One challenge is that the area under the seat is not easy to get glean, especially with the velcro tabs.First Time ParentVery happyComfortable, easy to clean, attractiveVery happy with this chair. My son started using it at about 10 months and he's been comfortable in it. The seat cushion is easy to wipe clean and it's helpful that it's attached with Velcro so that you can easily clean behind it. Overall a good choice.First Time ParentWorking Parentgreat high chair!easy to use & clean, looks greatgaps at sides of trayI love this high chair! It's easy to use - one hand to remove the tray for cleaning, removable cushions. Comfortable for my son and adjustable for when he gets bigger. Only complaint is that the tray doesn't go in all the way around my son, so food gets dropped into the sides of the chair, and also the tray can stain with food.First Time ParentStay at Home ParentGreat looking and almost perfect!Stylish, Functional, Easy to cleanA few design issues with the trayThis is my first baby (now 1 year old) and first highchair so I don't have much to compare it to but I love this highchair.

It's super stylish and my baby is comfy in it. I find the tray and seat easy to keep clean. You can store the tray under the seat while not in use which is handy. Here are the cons so far though which aren't showstoppers but I think OXO might want to take into consideration: (1.) When I wash the tray, water collects inside the tray through the seams in the plastic and it's impossible to get it all out so I fear that mold and gross stuff might be forming inside the tray. (2.) In order to lock the tray in place there is this mechanism with two plastic tabs which lately have been getting stuck inward half the time. So this means that my baby can push the tray forward rather than having it locked in the proper place. Overall though I think this is a great highchair and I recommend it. I look forward to converting it to a "bigger kid" chair as my baby grows.Parent of Two or More ChildrenWorking ParentPerfect high chair for smaller spacesComfortable, clean lines, easy to useTray is prone to stainingThis is a great high chair.
