These are our reasons. Come with a seat cushion Can grow with the child Good looking and blend in well with other furniture Appear to be easy to clean The product recommends for children 6 months and older. My son just turned 6 months and he started using this chair when he was about 5 months old. He is on the longer and heavier side so we decided to try it out when he is younger than recommended. The straps secure him nicely and he sits comfortably in it. It is very easy to get him in and out of the chair securely. He enjoys sitting high to get a different view. We will start solid next month and can't wait to feeding him in it. I will update my review if it doesn't work as good as expected after we start to feed him solid next month. It looks nice in the kitchen and is not a plastic clunker eyesore.
