We have been informed by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture that we are not allowed to sell ice cream away from the place of manufacture because of the Dairy Act, which was written over 50 years ago. Put simply, since we do not have a dairy licence, we cannot distribute our ice cream away from our commercial kitchen — which means we cannot sell it at the markets and festivals around Guelph. If we are able to raise funds we can be mobile while making our product and selling it from the same location – on our truck! Therefore we will still be able to attend the markets and festivals around town and serve to you our wonderful customers.
