Ever time I drink this I feel like I'm on the beach! I'll drink to that! Signup to like this rating Fantastic rum, on par with their Coconut. Though I don't think there are many uses for it. Personally I'll throw it in Coke or Dr. Pepper if I'm craving something sweet. However the plain Coconut is better for other mixed drinks as the "spice" isn't very heavy and gets drowned out easily. Using Coconut Spice for mixed drinks just gets you a slightly muted coconut flavor in comparison. This is a good flavored rum. Similar to the Blue Chair Bay Coconut, but with a heavy spiciness. I prefer the regular coconut, but this is good. A bit weak for my liking at only 26.5%abv. Still, a decent flavored rum. So smooth straight out of the bottle, Kenny did a good job with this one

First rum that is so good straight out if the bottlePretty sweet when you drink it out of a coconut. Good concept and a great crowd pleaser. I tried this straight up and it was ok it was coconut and spice just like the name says. However, I could see it being better in mixed drinks or a cola for sure. It's kinda like when you buy flavored coffee and it smells amazingly but, when you tastes it's it needs alittle cream same concept. Except the cream in this case is coke or in a mixed beverage I recommend this rum as a mixer for someone who enjoys a really sweet and mellow summery libation. Too sweet for me, and very thick and syrupy like maybe loaded with corn syrup. Not much in the way of spice but more coconut than Malibu. The coconut and spice create a unique combination what is full of flavor. Great coconut rum for those who do not like their rums as sweet. Can be easily enjoyed on its own or mixed with Coke. The best offering I have tried from this maker. Still a little too sweet and with a little bit of a strange aftertaste, but not the worst I have had.

Sugar: estimated at 80 gpl. The coconut smell and taste is there and it's not that chemical coconut aroma and taste. There is some heat to the spice portion of the rum. It's a very sweet rum and could be classed a liqueur. It's not palatable to me as a sipper but if you are making a coconut based rum drink with some spice then this is probably the only rum out there for that. Pina Colada with a kick comes to mind. I bought this after reading many great reviews. Like all bottles, I opened it, and was hoping a treat to my nose, but I was wrong. It smelt like I just opened a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Not used to seeing a clear spiced rum, I started becoming skeptical of my whole experience. I despise "white rums". I may just have never had a good one, but they all leave a bad aftertaste to me. I was still hopeful, since you have to be an optimistic to find what is the best. I poured a little in a glass, and took a sip. It was a little too much for me, but I did taste some of the spices and coconut.

I figured that it was just because it was a white rum, and my body likes to reject white rums. I put an ice cube in my cup, a little rum and a little Sprite, the way I would mix a full glass, just, proportioned so I didn't waste too much if I didn't like it. I was once again, hit with the white rum rejection. The spices and coconut where nice, but I couldn't get over the white rum part of it. It may mix better in other cocktails, but for my simple mixture, it doesn't make the cut. Interesting twist on the coconut and the spiced - at the same time. Still a little too coconut for my taste, but if you are buying it for the coconut, you might like it a lot more for the additional spice. This is 1 of 2 perfect Coconut Rums. This is a very very smooth spiced rum that you can drink straight or mix with cola. A must have for any collection. Not my usual style of rum, but I can appreciate that this is well crafted. Good pina colada mixer. This is a amazing combination of the right coconut flavor with a splash of spice.

Amazing by itself or mixed This stuff is incredible in Pina Colada or straight up. If you are a fan of coconut and CHAI give this a try. We found a bottle in Cape May, NJ last weekend and it makes a great rum and coke. Just add a little lime and it's a perfect mix. Signup to like this rating The beach to bottle movement has spread across America Chances are your piece of the islands is waiting at a retailer or watering hole near you. Find out where with a zip and a click below. If you come up empty, let us know on the and we'll set a course to make it right. This is by far my favorite flavored rum. The coconut isnt over powering, and the taste is amazing. i like the white version also , but the coconut truly stands out in its class. This is the smoothest and most natural tasting coconut rum I have ever tried, and I've tried more than my fair share of coconut rums. This rum can be sipped straight up, or on the rocks without any need of fillers. If Pina Colada is your thing, it is the perfect compliment to it.

It is not a standard 80 proof so it goes down very easy and because of that it is dangerously easy to loose count of how many you are drinking. I like my mixed drinks with a little bite so I would recommend added some BLUE CHAIR BAY WHITE RUM in addition to this coconut version if you are like me. This rum is great with Pineapple juice or an upgrade to any Malibu based drinks. I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 only because If BLUE CHAIR BAY ever makes an 80 Proof version of this COCONUT Rum it would surely be a 10. And I was not disappointed. I debated over which brand to buy and settled on Blue Chair and was not disappointed. Smooth taste and not a too-overpowering coconut flavor. I live in a state-controlled state so the only two offerings are Coconut and Banana ,which I'll have to try. Tried this one in place of Blue Chair White for my favorite cocktail mix (pineapple, orange juice and grenadine) and I was surprised that it added what I didn't know that my drink was missing.

This is really good coconut rum... I debated actually giving it an 8 (was considering a 7), just because it's a flavored rum... but then I thought... Well, that's what I'm rating it on now isn't it... Very smooth, perfect amount of coconut flavor, not too sweet or overpowering... very balanced. A little on the sweet side but good coconut flavor. Sugar: Estimated at 50 to 60 gpl. Great coconut aroma and taste. No chemical taste or smell as with some other coconut rums that I have tried. The coconut and the rum are well balanced. It is very sweet and is definitely for mixing in Tiki style drinks. I give this a 7 as that is as high a ranking a flavoured rum should ever get. I would not drink this neat or on the rocks. This maybe the best rum I have ever tasted!! And I have tasted a lot. Mixed or straight, this Coconut Rum should be a cornerstone liquor in your home bar. mixed with the real sugar Mexican Coca-Cola from Costco. This is really tasty, just enough coconut flavor but not overpowering.

I'd like to try the Blue Chair Spiced Rum but minimum order in Pennsylvania is 3 bottles. I believe this might be the best coconut rum I've tasted so far, not counting it's spiced sibling of course. I'm not crazy about coconut rums, but this is not overpowered by coconut flavors. The liquor store that I work for hosted a tasting of the Blue Chair Bay rums. This rum was a great coconut rum, but is just not my style. To sweet mixed with the overwhelming coconut flavor really hit you hard. However, in comparison to the Malibu Coconut Rum this blows it out the water. Higher proof, smoother flavor, and much better texture all make this rum 10 times better. I would suggest using this for any mixed drink that calls for Malibu Coconut Rum. As all the Blue Chair Bay Rums we tried we paired them in a mixed drink that complemented the flavor from the rums. This rums mixed drink is a 3 Way Dark and Stormy. 150 ml Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum 75 ml Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum Splash of Tropicana Limeade

One lime sliced served over ice. I like this a lot, but my liquor store stopped carrying it .so have to special order if I want more. same with all Blue chair bay rums, I always recommended it when I was in Liquor store and saw people looking at the rums. It mixes good with anything and it is very smooth to drink straight. To much coconut for me, needs the spice lol very smooth and full bodied thoughIsn't syrupy like other flavored rums and is very smooth. This is one is hands down one of my favorite. You can't beat that this is one of the highest proofed coconut rum on the shelf. All natural ingredients gives it that creamy smooth finish. You can mix this with juices, coconut water, or even on the rocks. You won't be disappointed with the taste!!! I really like the taste of this rum, though I found the 26.5%abv a bit weak for my liking. Taste is pretty much a sweet coconut flavor; not much else to describe it. But it's quite good. After using this rum liberally as a mixer for awhile, I decided to try it on the rocks.

So, this is coconut rum - of course it's sweet. Love the bottle, the less filtered look and the island flavour. What else is there to say? It beats Malibu and is great in tiki drinks. The best Coconut Rum I have tasted. I love the smooth taste of it and I have tried many coconut rum and was never happy until now. Thank you for making such a delicious rum. This rum is by far my favorite rum. The coconut is not overpowering and actually tastes like real coconuts. I can enjoy it straight or mixed in a cocktail. The sweetness is subtle and there is no burn. Overall a great rum I must start my saying Kenny Chesney..."no shoes nation!!!". This rum is packed with coconut flavor. Like an ocean breeze it goes well with Tiki cocktails and planters punch. Don't use too much because it can be overwhelming. Heavy duty coconut flavor. Cannot determine if it is natural or artificial. Definitely does not appear to have a chemical taste or smell. However nothing definitive as to whether the coconut flavor is natural, artificial, or a combination of both.
