Increasing the use of smartphones in healthcare leads to a situation where users use (store and transmit) their personal information in several types of applications.

The safety of a huge number of mobile health applications is becoming a serious problem for users, as they do not know how to manage and use their data. In this study, security and privacy in mobile health applications are studied and identified by examining and evaluating the three most popular mobile health apps available on the market (Android).
