God tests us with what we love and desire the most. If you think about it, the things you've wanted the most in life have been the things you've had to struggle with the most. The purpose of these tests is to help us become closer to God and learn to put our utmost trust in Him. If God tested us with things we didn't care much about, it wouldn't be a test. Whether you had that thing or not, it wouldn't matter. But with things we desire most, our souls are truly tested. We struggle, we ache, and we fight.
