The price for the tickets is ridiculously HIGH/ too expensive in comparison with what you see inside the museum. It took us 1 hour in the queue to get inside and 10-15 mins to see the museum itself from "head to toe" I felt utterly robbed at paying £15 per adult and £10 per child for ten minutes looking at 6 small rooms overcrowded with tourists. Rip off london at its worst It was the middle of June 2015 when we visited 221b Baker Street. There was a guy dressed up as a Victorian bobby on duty outside the door and entry was £15.00 each. The rooms had been set up as a typical Victorian house with a few old police memorabilia from the period and some things relating to the Sherlock... Long lines and nothing but disappointment at this place. There is very little to do with Sherlock in this place. It is mostly old furniture and junk. It was the most awaited moment of our stay in London. What a disappointment ! IT IS NOT THE ROOM IN SHERLOCK! and we waited in line ( the staff insisted on us being in line in spite of the drizzle).

They should charge like 5 pounds just for a picture in the Sherlock Holmes chair, because that's the only good experience there. The expensive museum is for the old film and not updated for the new serie. This is very disappointed. You can walk throw the old rooms and make some photos. It is not 15£ worth. No student discount available. There is a queue in front of the museum and you have to by the ticket first in the... The museum was not open when we passed but it was still a great opportunity for a photo. It is instantly recognizable from the TV series. We came with 2 toddlers so we've decided not to go into the museum and just to the store. The store has many many items of Sherlock Holmes and we had to hold ourselves not to buy too much :)
There was also a pretty long line for the museum (about 20-30 minutes long). A fantastic building set on a lovely street away from the bustle of London's city centre close to Regents Park. Anyone with an interest in Victorian times will enjoy a visit to this museum. Sherlock season 4 trailer: First glimpse of Benedict Cumberbatch in Christmas special hints at Moriarty's return The Victorian era clip shows the detective returning to Baker Street with Martin Freeman's Watson Friday 10 July 2015 08:27 BST San Diego Comic-Con is now in full swing, and the first of the internet-breaking trailers has already dropped.Fans attending the Sherlock panel - which consisted of showrunner Steven Moffat, Sue Vertue and Inspector Lestrade actor Rupert Graves - were treated to a huge surprise as the first minute and a half of the Christmas special was shown.Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman reprising their roles as Sherlock and Watson, unlike the normal show set in the modern-day, the special has taken the pair back in time to the Victorian era.“We’ve had some trouble with dismembered country squires,” says Sherlock to Mrs Hudson as the duo return back to Baker Street. “Caught the murder, still looking for the legs,” he says later on.
