Continued violations cease-fire in Syria, Turkey sends more vehicles, soldiers

Violations of the 35-day ceasefire continue with mutual shelling between Syrian government forces and Turkey's mercenary groups in Idlib countryside, while Turkey has brought more reinforcements to the region.

The cease-fire agreement concluded by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the beginning of last March entered its 35th day with continued violations.

In this context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, "After midnight Wednesday-Thursday night, the regime forces targeted with missiles with missiles, areas in al-Fateera and their swarms in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while below this continued cautious calm within the entire region of" Putin - Erdogan. "

The Syrian Observatory monitored yesterday, a missile bombardment carried out by the Syrian government forces on areas in al-Safira, Safwahn, al-Fateera, and al-Barah south of Idlib, and the vicinity of Sarmin, east of Idlib, and al-Haddadah Hill in the northern countryside of Latakia, and the city of Atarib in the western countryside of Aleppo, coinciding with the intensive flight of the Russian reconnaissance aircraft, and the flight of Turkish reconnaissance in the airspace of the region.

Whereas, mercenary groups affiliated with Turkey targeted with several rocket-propelled grenades the positions of the Syrian government forces stationed in Saraqib, east of Idlib.

In conjunction with the continuing violations, the Turkish occupation army continues to send more troops and military reinforcements to the area, where after the midnight of Wednesday - Thursday, the Syrian Observatory monitored the entry of a convoy of the occupation army composed of about 25 vehicles from the Kafr Lucien border crossing with the Sanjak of Alexandretta, and headed towards the sites Turkish in Idlib.

And with the continued flow of Turkish convoys, the number of vehicles that entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire reached 2395, in addition to thousands of soldiers.

According to the Syrian Observatory, the number of trucks and military vehicles that reached the area called "De-escalation" during the period from February 2 to date has increased to more than 5,800 Turkish trucks and military vehicles that entered Syria, carrying tanks, personnel carriers and armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars, while the number of Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during that period reached more than 10,300 Turkish soldiers.

Observers point out that Turkey agreed to a ceasefire at the meeting of Putin and Erdogan on March 5, in order to obtain sufficient time to strengthen its forces, and stressed that Turkey will not implement the agreement because it does not want to dissolve HTS (formerly Jabhet al-Nusra), which is classified on the list International Terrorism), being the spearhead in achieving its ambitions for Syria.
