LEGO: The Hobbit / LEGO: The Hobbit will officially launch on April 11, according to Warner Bros. The upcoming title is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, PC and Mac on that date, with the events covered in-game correlating with those depicted in the first two movies in Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. First announced last December, if you're curious as to how the game plays with its options for controlling all of The Hobbit's dwarves, each with varying abilities, be sure to read our thoughts from when we went hands-on with the game. Of course, if LEGO isn't your thing but you're still itching to get into Middle-earth, there's always Monolith's upcoming Shadows of Mordor, in which you play a resurrected ranger with wraith-like abilities. Luke Karmali is IGN's UK Junior Editor. You too can revel in mediocrity by following him on Twitter. Here's Why The LEGO Movie's Blu-ray Release Will Be Awesome Everything is awesome—or it will be, as soon as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases this winter’s The LEGO Movie onto Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.

The movie won’t actually be released into homes until June, which means we still have a while to wait, but Warner Bros. is promising a set with multiple editions and plenty of extras for the kiddos and adults with plenty of kiddo inside of them. The LEGO Movie stars Chris Pratt as Emmet, an unpopular Lego minifigure who gets mistaken for a masterbuilder and gets taken on an extremely cool adventure featuring a slew of characters from the LEGO canon, including LEGO Batman (Will Arnett), 1980 spaceman Benny (Charlie Day), pirate Metal Beard (Ron Swanson) and a lovely lady LEGO named Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks). The gang, Emmet included, decides to ban together and join one another for a mission against bad guy President Business (Will Ferrell), who really wants to glue down the world so different factions of LEGOs can no longer interact. The film’s twist ending, refreshing jokes and an awesome theme song by Tegan and Sara and the Lonely Island have made it a favorite among audiences of multiple ages (and made a sequel a no-brainer).

And, since we can’t pass up an opportunity to engage with "Everything is Awesome," here it is: Fans will be able to purchase the flick in a variety of formats, but it should be noted that The LEGO Movie isn’t getting an early Digital release. Instead, all formats will hit homes on June 17. If you aren’t a fan of Digital copies, you can choose from a standard Blu-ray combo pack, a 2-Disc Special Edition DVD and the "Everything is Awesome" Blu-ray Edition, which will come with a few extras for fans. Basically, with the "Everything is Awesome" Edition, you are paying for an exclusive LEGO Vitruvius minifigure, one extra bonus feature, and a collectible Emmet photo. All the different copies of the film are already available for pre-order over at Amazon. Before you order, you can check out the complete list of bonus features (collectibles not included), below. Or you can check out a blooper reel from the movie before its official release. The LEGO Movie Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD 2-Disc Special Edition

Both Blu-ray and DVD Don't Think Twice Trailers Mike Birbiglia's well-reviewed follow-up to his 2012 directorial debut Sleepwalk with Me. centers on a New York City improv troupe, where the success of one member impacts the rest of the group in different ways. Birbiglia himself heads up a strong ensemble that also features Keegan-Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Gethard, Tami Sagher, and Kate Micucci. It's the fifth installment in the Bourne franchise overall, the fourth for star Matt Damon, and third for director Paul Greengrass.

But Jason Bourne ranks with critics as the worst film in the series, with critics complaining about the tedious, redundant, unoriginal story from longtime-editor-turned-first-time-writer Christopher Rouse that is only partially saved by some decent action sequences. Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, and The Night Of's Riz Ahmed also star. Director Justin Tipping’s debut feature follows 15-year-old Brandon (newcomer Jahking Guillory), a poor, hard-working kid whose new Air Jordans are stolen off his feet by a local thug named Flaco. Determined to get his sneakers back, Brandon and his two best friends go on a risky mission to retrieve them. Mad Max: Fury Road (Black & Chrome Ed.) The "Black & Chrome" edition of last year's acclaimed fourth Mad Max film converts the theatrical release to black-and-white. It's available on its own as well as part of a new Mad Max High Octane Collection box set which includes all four Mad Max films as well as documentaries and other features.

Out Friday, December 9. In SNL writer Chris Kelly’s debut feature (as both writer and director), Jesse Plemons stars as David, a comedy writer who moves back home to take care of his cancer-stricken mother (Molly Shannon). Bradley Whitford plays David’s father and Maude Apatow and Madisen Beaty are his sisters in a strong cast that also includes June Squibb, Paul Dooley, Matt Walsh, Kerri Kenney, JJ Totah, Retta, John Early, and Zach Woods. The Secret Life of Pets Trailers This animated family comedy from the studio behind Despicable Me features the voices of Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Albert Brooks, and Jenny Slate. William Wyler's 1959 epic (itself one of Hollywood's first remakes, as well as an adaptation of Lew Wallace's novel) is considered one of the best films ever made. This new version from director Timur Bekmambetov (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) wasn't even one of the best films of August. Jack Huston takes on the titular role (made famous by Charlton Heston) as the prince-turned-slave-turned-chariot racer, while Morgan Freeman, Pilou Asbæk, Toby Kebbell, and (playing the newly enlarged role of Jesus) Rodrigo Santoro star.

The result is one of 2016's biggest box office bombs. Bridget Jones's Baby Trailers Fans waited 14 years for another Big Fat Greek Wedding on the big screen, so a mere 12 years for a new Bridget Jones rom-com is comparably quick. While the first two films—2001‘s Bridget Jones’s Diary and 2004’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason—were based on novels by Helen Fielding, this third film has been tackled by at least three writers–Fielding, One Day author David Nicholls, and Emma Thompson (who also has a role in the film). Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth are back as Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy, but Hugh Grant‘s Daniel Cleaver has been replaced by Patrick Dempsey’s billionaire American, Jack Qwant. When it premiered to good reviews at Sundance this year, Equity was billed as the “first female-focused Wall Street drama.” Meera Menon’s second feature stars Breaking Bad’s Anna Gunn as Naomi Bishop, a senior investment banker struggling to balance business and ethics as she guides the IPO for a new tech company.

Florence Foster Jenkins Trailers It's a true story so strange that it's now been told in two different recent films. Unlike the French drama Marguerite, which changed some of the details (including the names and setting), Florence Foster Jenkins sticks closer to the actual story. The Stephen Frears-directed film stars Meryl Streep in what could be an Oscar-nominated performance as the eponymous New York heiress and socialite who believed her singing voice to be quite beautiful—so much so that she made plans to perform at at Carnegie Hall. Her voice was painfully awful. Hugh Grant plays her husband, St. Clair Bayfield, who tried to shield her from the awful truth. After the critical success of 2012’s Keep the Lights On and 2014’s Love Is Strange, writer-director Ira Sachs returned to Sundance earlier this year with another film co-written by Mauricio Zacharias. Focusing on how the friendship between middle schoolers Jake (Theo Taplitz) and Tony (Michael Barbieri) is impacted by the dispute between Jake's father (Greg Kinnear), and Tony's mother (Paulina Garcia) over a rental property, Sachs once again impressed critics with his humane approach to common modern problems.

Southside With You Trailers The first of two 2016 films depicting a young Barack Obama (with Barry due later this month), Southside With You takes a narrow focus by depicting the first date between Barack Obama and future First Lady Michelle Robinson. Parker Sawyers and Tika Sumpter star in writer-director Richard Tanne’s fictionalized look at their first day together, which was warmly received by critics at Sundance. Thanks to the critical and domestic box office disappointments of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. and DC Comics had a lot riding on August's Suicide Squad adaptation by writer-director David Ayer (Fury). Unfortunately, this story of a misfit group of criminals doing the government’s dirty work scored even lower with critics, who found the film bloated and confused. (It nevertheless grossed over $700 million, so expect a sequel.) Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie head the ensemble. The Magnificent Seven (2016) Trailers Antoine Fuqua’s remake of John Sturges' 1960 western (which itself was a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 epic The Seven Samurai) stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Martin Sensmeier as the seven outlaws-turned-heroes and Peter Sarsgaard as their evil industrialist nemesis.

It boasts a screenplay co-written by Nic Pizzolatto (HBO's True Detective), but critics found the result uninspired and forgettable. Clint Eastwood’s latest directorial effort examines the story behind the “Miracle on the Hudson” water landing in 2009. While audiences may already be familiar with the event itself—when Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles landed US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River after losing power in both engines—less is known about the aftermath of the landing and the subsequent investigation into Sully’s choices that day. As in 2013’s Captain Phillips, Tom Hanks plays a real-life character under immense pressure. Hanks, Eastwood, and the film itself could be headed to Oscar nominations next month. At May’s Cannes Film Festival, writer-director Andrea Arnold (Wuthering Heights, Fish Tank) won the Jury Prize for the third time for this, her first film set in the United States. Honey combines two classic American teen movie genres—the coming-of-age story and the road trip movie—as it follows Star (newcomer Sasha Lane), a wild child who leaves her troubled home when she falls for a magazine subscription salesman played by Shia LaBeouf (in an unsurprisingly divisive performance).
