Qualicum Beach town centre is only 3-minutes drive. Our guests enjoy hearty self-serve breakfasts at their leisure in their rooms along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Each room is equipped with high-speed Wifi, cable television, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, kettle, and kitchenware. Each room is appointed with linens, beach towels, robes, and toiletries. With an outdoor patio for each room, you will feel right at home. The room was exactly what we needed. My boyfriend and I slept in the extremely comfortable queen sized bed and our friends used the twin trundle. They chose to keep the mattresses separate, but Karen told us we could lower the trundle part to make one big bed if we wanted to. There was also a sitting area with a couch and table and chairs for hanging out. The area was quiet and we slept fabulously. Instead of a sit-down breakfast, there was a mini-fridge and table with breakfast items and dining ware. There was fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese-sticks, bread, jam, English muffins, cereal, tea and coffee. We had been concerned about eating breakfast because we were leaving early in the morning and were delighted that the food was already in our room.
Karen was also a delight. We spent almost thirty minutes chatting with her when we arrived. She directed us toward a great restaurant for dinner and made us feel quite welcome. The price was also great for our young adult budget. The bed was really comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and we had our own little private patio and daily self-serve breakfast. The location is great, a short walking distance from the beach. You can see the ocean in between the trees. Although on the highway, it is VERY quiet and peaceful. Lots of green space around. All in all a beautiful place. We didn’t get to interact that much with Karen as we were out and about all the time, but I’m sure if we would have needed anything, she would have been there for us. We’re also grateful we were able to travel with our two small dogs and they enjoyed the place as much as we did.”

Our host was helpful, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed talking to Karen and she also had a lot of useful advice on what to see in the area. Our room was rustic and quaint and we could actually see the ocean from our window. What we appreciated a lot was privacy that this place gives you – each room has a separate entrance and a kitchenette with fridge that is stocked with all you may wish to eat for breakfast. We actually enjoyed eating by ourselves in our room at a lovely little wooden table. The bathroom had more than we expected – fresh towels, soaps, even hair products. The room was quiet and we slept really well there. It’s a perfect place for anybody who wants to enjoy Vancouver Island and their privacy as well. We’ll try to come back in the future – hopefully this time there will be a room available!
