Download instruction manual (pdf) - It has a very good size - small enough that it hasn't taken over the entire bedroom but my baby still has some room to roll around and stretch her limbs. - It looks beautiful and feels sturdy - no cheap crib vibe at all. - The wheels makes it easy to move around. - Baby sleeps long and well in it. A few things makes the crib lose one star though: - The mattress pad that comes with it is a joke. Ours went straight to the trash. We read very mixed reviews of the mattress that DaVinci sells and found (like many others) that it is impossible to find sheets for that one. So we chose Naturepedics portacrib Mattress. It's tight but there's no bulking or odd gaps. - The crib came with two large stickers that has left residue on it. Hate it when companies do that! But that's a minor detail. All in all I would definitely recommend this crib! I have no words to praise this little rocking crib. My 5 month old son loves it. Initially we brought it with the intention of rocking him to sleep in the process of transitioning him from rocking in our arms (where he would wake up upon putting him down in crib) to a crib.
Our plan of sleep training was to rock him initially and then gradually decrease the intensity & frequency and finally make him sleep without any rocking. Believe me, the sleep training was such a breeze with this crib. Also in the middle of the night, if he wakes up and moves, the crib would start to rock by itself and he goes off to sleep again without us waking up to rock him. Gradually we decreased the rocking intensity and now he needs no rocking at all. How much I wish such a crib is made in the standard size than as a mini crib where he can use it for many more years. Agree that getting bedding for this crib is tough, but that does not decrease our votes for this wonderful crib. All in all, we all love this mini rocking crib. We bought this crib to be able to accomodate our granddaughter when she visits. It's beautiful, and both my daughter and her baby loved it. It has a wonderful rocking feature, and you could rock the baby to sleep. The crib also fits through doors without having to fold or disassemble.
We could carry it from the bedroom to the family room without a problem. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Brought this crib for my 4lb and 13 oz preemie(he's 5 lbs now) and it works out just fine. Just get the crescent 50coil mattress and gerber knit crib sheets fit perfectly around the mattress. The rocking feature is great, overall a very awesome buy. I highly recommend this. I am very pleased with the quality of this crib. It assembles easily and looks great! I was a little nervous ordering it online but I am so glad I did. I did order a thicker mattress to go with it because the one that it comes with is only about an inch thick. I'm a foster parent and was required to get a crib for our child. I searched on the internet for anything available in Canada. It had to meet the new safety regulations of fixed size but short in height as my wife is only 5 Ft. tall. Nothing available here in Canada under $400. I was relieved to see the wide range of choices on Wayfair, especially with the mini crib.
As we are short on space this was a great solution to our problem. Very nice quality and just as shown.
