Drill a 1/4" hole in the frame and incert with the 3/32" allen wrench. Why are the product dimensions the size of the BAG of bumpers? Obviously, customers need to know the size OF THE BUMPER ITSELF. The door silencers are 1/2" round and fit metal doors with 1/4" hole's in the frame. the total length of the silencer is about 1/2". I think you can use them on a wood frame door if you drill a 1/4" holes in the frame. to insert them you use a 3/32" allen wrench in the the top of the door silencers and just push it in the hole.
