Powder coating refers to the technique used to apply finish and not the luster of the finished product. These chairs are great , comfortable too, they are light grey , not too shiny, just the right amount to be elegant , I bought the white round table also, the dining corner looks great!

Hi benayl, these chairs can be slid under a standard table about half way. They match very well with the bar stools. They won't slide under and yes they coordinate. We are using a tulip table, and these actually push in further than our previous chairs (which had no arms) did because of the shallow seat depth. chairs do not slide under my standard height.table. When I received the box the chairs were stacked and there was a wooden attached to the bottom so I would think the chairs are maybe 10 pounds a piece.
I don't think of them as heavy. "I really like these chairs, but wondered how they would fare on the patio. Would they rust easily or should they hold up to the outdoor elements?" If they're decently covered, I would assume they would last okay. I wouldn't suggest leaving them out where they get rained on a lot, however. If you live in a humid climate I would think that they would rust over time, even under a patio. I have use these chairs outdoors for two years in a relatively humid climate. Two were on my screened-in, covered back porch. These have held up very well, with just some rust in the gap/seam between the back of the chair and the seat, but otherwise look great. The other two were on a covered but open front porch. These are a little worse for the wear, with minor but noticeable rust haze and spots on the seams, seat, and back. Certainly not terrible but trying to clean it has definitely damaged the finish, and I will likely repaint them in the next few months.
