Mercedes Benz A-Class

The A Class the most enigmatic of the models listed here at time of going to press. The best idea of how it will look is from the Concept A Sedan exhibited at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show, and there have only been rumours that it will be available as a PHEV.

However they are quite substantial rumours, and it would make a lot of sense considering the series above the A Class - C Class, E Class, and S Class amongst others - are all available as in plug-in form too. Combine that fact, the look of the new CLS, and that rivals VW and Audi both offer a compact PHEV, and a plug-in A Class looks likely. Good news all round in our book.
