Learn more about the Luxi mattress in my Luxi mattress review. The Luxi mattress is easy to unbox, just remove the plastic and the mattress will take care of the rest.  Let the mattress decompress for 24-72 hours before you really assess the feel, since the firmness will change slightly as the mattress fully decompresses. Just make sure not to puncture the mattress when you are cutting off the plastic.  This is really the only way you can mess up the unboxing, so be careful! There will also be some slight off-gassing (chemical smell) upon opening.  Don’t be concerned, this is completely normal for a compressed foam mattress.  The smell should go away entirely within 24 hours. Joe has been working in the mattress industry for a number of years and is an active reviewer on Mattress Clarity.

The bed in a box memory foam mattress is simple to order, quickly packed and shipped for easy unboxing and setup. Along with the invention of the wonderful comfortable memory foam mattress a new phenomenon has also been created known as the bed in a box. One no longer must travel to a brick and mortar store to try out a mattress as if buying a car. We now have the wonderful option of ordering on-line to receive a memory foam mattress in a box delivered right to your doorstep just as any other parcel. Ordering the mattress in a box is very easy and worry free. Most mattress in a box companies offer multiple sizes including twin, XL twin, full, queen, king and California king. Once the order is placed your mattress will be neatly packed in a box. Generally, the bed in a box mattress will be shipped out quickly for you to receive in a matter of just a few days. The memory foam mattress is easily manipulated to be folded and vacuum sealed. With this process the mattress is compressed to a size that fits neatly packed into a box that is around 23-inches by 20-inches and 39-inches high.

The wonderful size of box allows for you to have a larger mattress in spaces that may have been prohibitive before such as in rooms up narrow staircases and around tight corridors. With a quick turnaround time, once the order is placed the mattress is boxed right away and readied to ship out. Most memory foam mattress in a box orders are shipped from factory to doorstep via services such as Fed-Ex. There is no need for one to arrange for someone to be home as your box will be left at your home, as with any other parcel, ready for you to open and enjoy. Excitement awaits as you anxiously open your boxed mattress. Before unpacking move the box to the desired room that is to be home to your new memory foam mattress. Open the top of the box and you will see your mattress neatly folded and sealed in its plastic wrapping. Pull the sealed mattress out of the box to ready it to be opened. Carefully cut the plastic compressing the bed. As the wrapping falls away the mattress will open as if inflating, unfolding and coming alive.

Simply place the mattress on the foundation waiting for it and you will instantly have a showroom perfection memory foam mattress ready to be made up for sleep. You will want to note that the mattress may feel firm at first. The bed will adjust with one’s body the more nights it is slept on and soon aches and pains will be noticeably reduced. Along with most bed in a box mattresses months of trial nights are offered in order to permit one to really get a feel of their new mattress. The free 101 Night Sleep Trial offered by GhostBed specifically allows for plenty of time to totally test and try out their new memory foam mattress. With a great trial period one receives the nights they need to get used to a new mattress so that they may truly appreciate its benefits. If not totally satisfied, then GhostBed will pick up the mattress at no cost and for a full refund. As you can see, it’s a fairly easy process to unbox the mattress.  The myCloud is a bit heavy (especially the 14″ Nimbus model shown), so you may need a friend to help you with the process.

The only real way to mess up the unboxing is to puncture the mattress.  Just be careful with removing the plastic and you will be fine! As you can see in my full myCloud mattress review, there is a lot of memory foam stuffed in that little box!  It will take a day or two for the mattress to completely decompress, but you can go ahead and sleep on it in the meantime if you like.See how it all works here.Meet the newest mattress from Nature’s Sleep! The Emerald gel memory foam mattress is one of the most unique mattresses I have ever unboxed or tested. This mattress is created by Nature’s Sleep. This Florida based company specializes in not only in building the most comfortable and supportive mattresses, but mattresses that use the highest quality (on par with Tempur-pedic) and healthiest materials. The result is a mattress that sleeps wonderfully, and healthily. The Emerald Gel Memory Foam mattress is truly one of the most unique mattresses I’ve ever seen. It is specifically designed with stomach sleepers in mind.

The foams used, their layering, and other construction factors combine to form a mattress that helps stomach sleepers get better sleep. The mattress does this with what they call the “elevator effect”. Essentially, the mattress rises up or lowers down based on the sleeper’s weight in different places, allowing the spine to achieve proper alignment, while also reducing pressure on your airways. Not a stomach sleeper? Nature’s Sleep has a full line of mattresses for all sleepers! Check them out here. Also, don’t forget to grab our exclusive Nature’s Sleep promo code. Watch our unboxing of the Emerald gel memory foam mattress below: I’ve only slept on my Nature’s Sleep Emerald gel memory foam mattress a few nights, but thus far I’m really impressed. I have been a stomach sleeper my entire life. Most days my back is fine, which is likely more due to my age (or lack thereof), but other days I can certainly wake up sore sleeping on traditional mattresses.

In any case, I definitely managed to strain my lower back a bit last week working out. The mattress I was previously testing wasn’t doing me any favors to alleviating the pain in an already strained back. After my first night on the Emerald gel memory foam I could tell a noticeable difference in my soreness. Perhaps it was simply the strain running its course, but the absence of back pain in the morning combined with one of the deeper sleeps I’ve had in a while make me think the mattress is playing a big factor. The feel is similar to that of a traditional memory foam mattress. There’s a fair degree of sinkage, hug, and contour around your body. Generally, I don’t like this feeling, but in this case it seemed to work for me. The foam layers do a good job of dropping certain portions of my body, while elevating others, getting my back closer to a neutral spine alignment. Nature’s Sleep products are certainly not inexpensive, but you really get what you pay for. Their quality is at the same level of Tempur-pedic.
