5cm / 2 inches 1 to 3 working days Mega Menu Image (170x150) transforms bed really comfortable but stinks of solvent, this goes eventually and it should be aired for a week or so before use Customer service is excelent Great buy, fit perfectly as above packing to tight and under thickness the foam is been damaged due to the vacum packing been to tight also thickness is under 5cm thick A bit smelly, so I left it unfolded in spare room. The mattress is not actually king sized, it only opened up to double size, after being left unrolled all day. also is not quite as soft as I wanted. I get terribly sore hips after about 4 hours in bed, although there has been a little improvement with the topper added. The topper fits and is comfortable Very disappointed with this product. Does not mould, it's harder than expected & hope for. Not using it, been a waste of money. I think the next time I buy one would be cooler one Ten out of ten
