Time costs nothing, but spending time choosing the right mattress is an investment in your health, happiness and wellbeing. A good night’s sleep depends on a number of factors, but selecting the right mattress is the foundation to a restful and relaxing sleep – night or day. The Signature Collection of pure latex mattresses represents Dunlopillo’s blueprint for absolute comfort. Each one of our six mattresses offers a truly unique environment to rest, relax and unwind. Each mattress has been designed to provide excellent postural support, whilst delivering a level of unique luxury that is un-paralleled. Our advice…please take your time to choose your perfect Dunlopillo mattress. Choosing the right mattress It is very important to consider the support your body needs…a neutral position is essential, one in which your spine has correct natural curvature and your head, shoulders, waist and legs are in proper alignment. A bed that is too soft or too firm will cause your body core to fall out of neutral alignment leading to persistent discomfort and restless sleep patterns.

All beds in the Dunlopillo Signature Collection are guaranteed for eight years. Please take your time to choose your perfect Dunlopillo Bed or Pillow. What do I do if I have a query or problem? If you have a problem with an item you have bought, your contract of sale is with the retailer, the person who you paid your money to. So, your first port of call should always be the retailer. Initially we would ask you to contact the retailer where you purchased the product and explain the situation to them. What do I do if I have a faulty/broken part on my old bed which needs replacing? If your bed is still within its warranty, you need to go back to you retailer where you bought the product as this is who your contract of sale is with. For a bed which is out of warranty unfortunately we do not hold stock of old parts. How do I find out what mattress or pillow is the equivalent to my current Dunlopillo product? The Signature Collection is an entirely new Dunlopillo range and although there will not be a direct equivalent to your old mattress or pillow, we are confident that you will still find the kind of support and comfort which feels best for you.

Choosing the best product for you is purely subjective to your individual needs, therefore we encourage you to visit your local Dunlopillo stockist to try as many variations available to you as possible. How do I know what product is best for me? Our new Dunlopillo Signature range has been developed to offer a simple choice of feel and you can discover more about our Mattresses, Bases, Headboards, Fabrics and Pillows on our website.  We offer a variety of tensions, support and sizes and it is difficult to recommend the best product for each individual as everyone has different requirements. Therefore we encourage you to visit your local Dunlopillo retailer in order to try as many of our Dunlopillo products available to you as possible. Please visit Where To Buy for details on your local stockists. How do I place an order? You cannot buy from us directly but we do supply quality retailers across the British Isles. Why don’t you have a price list showing all of the beds you make on your web site?

As we are the manufacturers of the product and do not sell directly to the public, by law we are not permitted to issue retail prices. Where is my local Dunlopillo stockist? Please visit Where To Buy for details on your local stockists. Is a latex mattress hot to sleep on? A latex mattress does not ‘sleep hot’ like most memory foam mattresses do. Latex is breathable – it’s open cell structure is made up of millions of interconnecting microscopic air bubbles, not only ensuring a very supportive mattress; but promoting constant air circulation. Natural movement during the night on a latex mattress encourages air to move in and out of the mattress through the open-cell structure which helps you feel cooler while sleeping. Are Dunlopillo mattresses pure latex? Our Dunlopillo mattresses are 100% pure latex. Natural latex is a wonderful material derived from the sap of rubber trees (Hevea Brasiliensis) grown in managed sustainable plantations around the world.

Can I wash my latex pillow? You can hand wash our latex pillows gently in warm water (max 40ºC) using mild soap powder. Rinse well in cold water and press the pillow carefully between two towels to squeeze out water. Dry in warm air or airing cupboard – keep away from heat or direct sunlight. Do not dry clean or tumble dry. Please note- frequent washing may reduce the useful life of this product. Does my Dunlopillo product come with a warranty? In the unlikely event that your Dunlopillo product presents any manufacturing fault or defect within eight years* from date of purchase, repairs will be made without charge.  Please visit Register Your Guarantee to confirm your purchase. I suffer from back pain. Would you recommend a soft, medium or firm mattress? You should always seek medical advice if you suffer with back pain, however it is worth noting that if you are currently sleeping on a mattress which is not supporting you correctly, this could be contributing to any back pain you are suffering.

The popular belief that a firm bed is good for a bad back is not necessarily true. We recommend that you always try a number of beds with different tensions, to find the mattress which ensures you sleep in a position where your spine rests in a neutral position. How do I know which bed to choose when looking for a new bed? We suggest that you try as many variations as possible to enable you to select the option that gives your body the correct support. When you lie facing upwards, you should feel the mattress nestling against the small of your back (this is the area above your hips). If you slide your hand between the small of your back and the mattress and feel a gentle pressure from both sides, you have found the mattress with the correct level of support for you. The same applies if you lie on your side – you should feel the mattress willing to accommodate your shoulder and hips and yet support your waist. Above all, take time when selecting a mattress and choose one that feels most comfortable to you.

How often should I change my mattress? The Sleep Council strongly recommends that you replace a mattress every seven years, because by this time it will have lost much of its original comfort and support. For further information and sleep advice, please visit l website. If I am replacing my mattress should I buy a new base? We always recommend you buy the base and mattress together because the two are designed and manufactured to complement one another in terms of support. Your mattress may show visible signs of wear and tear but the base will have had equal pressure and strain – it just doesn’t show quite so clearly. Do you have Dunlopillo stockists overseas? The Dunlopillo brand is licensed and manufactured in various countries across the world, we recommend that you contact these manufacturers directly to discover where the overseas Dunlopillo stockists are. If you still can’t find the answer to your query, then please contact us on info@dunlopillo.co.uk and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
