Can I use my existing mattresses?It is recommended for the top bunk bed that you buy a low profile mattress with a height/depth of approx 14-16cm, the reason for this is one of safety that your child does not roll off the top of the bunk bed, if you used a normal mattress with a height/depth of 23cm then the mattress would be higher than the side of the top bunk bed.
For the bottom bunk bed you can use a regular sized single mattress. The recommended mattress for the European Sized Bunk Beds is 200x90 and the UK/Irish Sized Bunk Beds 190cmx90cm• What are the assembly requirements?Please note that all bunk beds are flat packed, we offer FREE DELIVERY nationwide and also offer an assembly service should you wish, this is an additional charge, paid directly to the company who handles our assembly. Sealy guarantees the replacement or repair of your mattress or foundation if, in normal use, either piece fails to meet its high standards for quality and workmanship. For warranty purposes, normal use requires that a purchaser’s mattress be subject to proper handling and continuously supported by a matching foundation or adjustable base with a proper bed frame sufficient to support the collective weight of the mattress and foundation. Failure to have a proper bed frame may invalidate the limited warranty. To provide continuous support, a queen or king frame must have 1) a rigid bridge bar with a supporting leg and 2) at least 5 legs or 5 equally spaced hardwood cross-slats. The Sealy Limited Warranty covers the following items during normal use: Loose/broken coils or wires. Sagging or indentations of greater than 1.5" for latex or innerspring and .75" for memory foam not associated with the use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable base.
This Limited Warranty does not cover: Floor models, products sold “as is” or “demos.” Any mattress found to be in an unsanitary condition. Normal body indentations of less than 1.5" for latex or innerspring and .75" for memory foam. Abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to: burns, cuts, tears or liquid damage. Damage associated with use of an improper bed frame, foundation or adjustable base.
