Brought Bodhi home from breeder and he went to his new bed without suggestion. Bhodi is a twelve week old toy Australian shepherd. He took 5 naps the day I brought him home. He sleeps soundly against the bolster. Seems to love it. Not once have I needed to point out where it is and he hasn't tried once to get on our sofa or other furniture! Rosie loved it so much she could hardly wait until the package was opened. She did her little jumping in the air dance and then pounced into the bed, loving it. My dog Sam doesn't really like this bed. The material that covers the bed is noisy I think it's meant to shed water but it sounds like a raincoat and he doesn't really care for it She seems to have the same reaction as I did when I got my Casper- first couple nights were tentative but now she seems quite comfortable. Her previous bed was round and since she likes to curl - it seems she missed that. I have three dogs all under thirty pounds and I bought three of the small Casper dog beds at the same time I bought my king size Casper mattress and pillows.

They love their beds and I love mine! They use their beds during the day and sleep on my Casper at night. I bought the large bed for my 2 year old Husky and he loves it. He is either sprawled out on his side across the whole bed or on his back with his legs in the air. He sleeps on it most of the night and naps on it during the day. I love the grey color and how easy it is to wash the cover. It looks great in my living room too. We're very happy with the Casper bed. Well made, attractive, and the sleeper likes it. It is her most treasured belonging Really too soon to tell, but so far, so good. She is still adjusting to having a new bed. My English bulldog, Cassie, loved it right away. She likes to lay her head on the bolsters to sleep. Cassie is about 65 pounds. My black & tan coonhound, Lola, was a lot more skeptical of it. She really is a creature of habit and does not like change, so I was not surprised that she wouldn't lie on it right away. When we got a new leather couch in our family room, it took her about 10 months before she would lie on it.

It took her a few days to even stand on her new Casper bed, but after 2 weeks, I think she loves it too. She lies on it every day now. It have 4 dogs: 2 of my own and 2 fosters currently. Their ages are 2 (Casper) 7 (Misty, foster) 15 (Charlie) and 18 (Cleo, foster/hospice). They've each enjoyed the bed singly and more amazingly I've found them all sharing it! Considering I have about a dozen dog beds in various locations in the house and yard, that seems to be high praise indeed! If I could change one thing it would be to make the cover more fitted where they sleep. It gets wrinkly and bugs me a little- good news is the dogs don't seem to mind at all Dog sometimes pics the couch over the bed about 50/50 Kodi never slept in other beds we bought, but as soon as we put the Casper bed together he climbed into it and then stayed. Now it's the only place I have to look if I want to find him !!! I am not sure why, but my dog won't go anywhere near the mattress. We have had at for a few weeks.

I have tried to get him to like it using treats, but no luck. I think he doesn't like the sound the fabric makes. The cover is like a tarp and he doesn't seem into it. I will give it another week and if he still hates it, I'll return it. Wanted my geriatric dog to fall in love with this bed because I imagine it's her last year. The foam may be too firm for such a lightweight dog (11 lbs) to be getting much extra support. Obviously it's hard to tell without having verbal feedback. But she seems to go for her softer bed or her blanket so that's the feedback we're getting. The other reason being perhaps that it's too high for her. She's so old and infirm, I thought it would be a good fit. It still may be. I upped her pain juice (Canna-pet) which helps tons with her hips. If she can use them better, if she has an easier time climbing into the Casper then I'll be happier with the purchase. When I place her in the Casper she generally stays there until her surprise bowels force her to scramble out.

Which is why I think she prefers the blanket on the floor. I do wonder if more fit dogs of the same weight like the bed. I know weight counts for a lot when it comes to the experience of foam. Who knows if the same goes for dogs. Anyway, lots of circumstances here. What is great about the bed is the quality and construction. Seems like it would last a long time and the bolsters are great. I must say first that I am an older lady and not as spry as I once was so my human got the bed out of the box for me. We were both a little surprised that we had to put it together. He's all thumbs and I'm no thumbs but we figured it out together. It's very comfortable but I think I would have liked the bigger one better. Sometimes I sleep stretched out and I hang over the edges. A couple nights in I had a reaction to some medicine, gave out a horrible howl, and watered my new bed. My family took off the cover and found the cushions dry. The next day the cover was washed and dried and replaced, and I was ready to go - back to sleep!

All in all, I'm very pleased with my Casper. It's one of my favorite stops on my nightly tour of the house. My Flame loves this mattress. He can stretch out to his heart's content. The cat likes it too. She snuggles up with him on it. We have just had the mattress for three days now and Finny is starting to warm up to it more and more. He always takes a bit of time getting used to new beds / rest areas. This bed is very well constructed and looks like it will last for many years to come. Hopefully i will have an opportunity to review at a later date once Finny becomes accustomed to it. This bed is well worth the purchase price compared to all the other beds we looked at and we're even returning a couple back to other online sellers who are selling a whole lot less quality units for close to the price of this one! The bed had great and easy to follow instructions. The materials used are very high quality and durable. My dog tends to spend his time on the floor and in a bed but with this bed he spends more time in the Casper bed.

he loved the included dog toy! We had four dog beds in the office that Whisky would switch between, but since we got the Casper he's only ever curled up in it! He has space to move around and also sleep with his favorite toys and blanket. He's a happy little boy! COOPER HURT HIS LOWER BACK AND CAN NO LONGER SLEEP WITH US AND WOULD NOT SLEEP ON ANY OTHER DOG BED WE BOUGHT FOR HIM. HE WOULD GET UP STIFF AND HURTING IN THE MORNINGS. SINCE HE GOT HIS CASPER, HE IS MUCH IMPROVED !! One of our dogs scratches a lot before she lies down. The bed is standing up great!! Two of the dogs will sleep on the bed at the same time. They rush to lie on it when their work day is done!! The mattress seems good, but to be honest my dog barely uses it. I believe that medium size was not big enough for him because he has to curl in a ball so he can fit in it and his favorite sleeping position is crazy legs in the air. Is there a way we can change the size? Otherwise I will have to send it back.
