The Mattress SourceCome lend a hand and build a wonderful play land! Dream Depot 2.0 is under construction at Wacousta Elementary now through Sunday. The original Dream Depot playground was built back in 1990 with the help of community volunteers and the students of Grand Ledge Schools and Wacousta Elementary. Dream Depot 2.0 will be a completely new playground! They are looking for a variety of helpers: skilled workers comfortable with a circular saw or other power tools and other workers comfortable with non-power tool related jobs. They are also looking for help from area businesses. Donating items on this needs list is an important way to help meet the needs of the families who stay here. Residents use these items both during their stay and upon leaving the shelter. When you donate items on this list you also help defray operating costs of the shelter. We accept donations every day of the year between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Where do I drop off donations? When donated, these items are given to families as they move out of the shelter into their own permanent, affordable housing. A household items drive is a great way to help out families. These items are used by residents while in the shelter and also, when available, given to families as they move into permanent housing. Unfortunately we can no longer accept travel-sized items.
