You can drop off items at Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores up until an hour before close of business each day. Hours are listed below the store locations. Most items not suitable for sale in the store are recycled or sold to those who deal in wholesale items, such as rag dealers, leather dealers and electronics scrap recovery businesses.Those in dire need in Columbus are sent to the thrift store with vouchers for free merchandise. You may receive a receipt for your donation, but you must determine the value of the items yourself.
