The owner of a Houston mattress store will soon be making $10 million worth of refunds to customers who bet that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would win. Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale offered customers who purchased a mattress for $2,000 or more the opportunity to win their money back or receive more store credit if they chose the winning political party, The Houston Chronicle reports. He said Wednesday, the day after the election, that about 4,000 shoppers made the right pick. Those who weren't so lucky and chose the Democrats spent about $13 million, the paper reports. "A lot of the Rs hedged and put down D saying that they would be happy the night of the election," McIngvale told The Chronicle. "Mattress Mack" has made other high profile bets before, including one based on the 2014 Super Bowl and the price of oil last year. Do the right thing when no one is watching.
