We are currently serving approximately 60 dinners and breakfasts and providing 15 sack lunches Please bring your hot and ready to eat dinner to the shelter in a disposable container by 6:45 pm; guests eat at 7:00 pm. We suggest lunches contain a sandwich, fruit, chips and a drink. They may be dropped off any time during the day; they will be passed out the following day. Please bring sandwiches in a separate bag, as we need to refrigerate them. If you are bringing milk or orange juice, please call ahead to find out what our need is. If you are scheduled to serve, please arrive at 6:45 pm. Generally, the dinner time meal shift lasts until 9:00 pm. The overnight volunteer shift is generally 9 pm to 7 am. Please notify staff if you need to come late or leave early. Dress in comfortable clothing All bedding is provided Lights are out at 11:00 pm Breakfast is served at 6:00 am
As it is absolutely necessary to have an overnight volunteer each night, please notify Lazarus House staff ASAP if you are unable to work your shift and have not been able to locate a substitute. Contact your church or community group coordinator for more details regarding your night of service. Bring donated items to Lazarus House-Monday thru Saturday 8am-9pm & Sunday after 1pm.
