We came here for a conference. We had such a restful night's sleep here, which is ultimately the goal above all else. When we arrived, the lobby was a zoo. Waiting for the elevator was similar to what you would expect on a Friday in Vegas at Mandalay Bay. But once we got up to the large room and reset, we were very happy with the location and accommodations. The concierge desk was very helpful and sent us to the exact type of neighborhood we wanted to see. 3,603 reviews sorted by: Just stayed at the Seattle Sheraton. Couldn't have asked for a better location for sightseeing. We could easily walk to numerous attractions and shopping centers. At check in found that the hotel did not honor our request for connecting rooms, despite booking well in advance. However, they did work hard to find a room that met our needs. The rooms were average size and functional. Towels were very small and thin though and the pillows were very thin. Although we could hear the noise from late night teenage revelers, all in all we found the room comfortable.

The hotel was hosting tons of teenagers attending a convention. Unfortunately the teens took over the computers, lobby seating, etc. Also witnessed long lines at reception on several occasions, making obtaining help and/or information near impossible at times. Enjoyed the lobby lounge and restaurant. All in all, would definitely stay again We stayed here for one night to see a show at the 5th Avenue Theatre. The location couldn't have been more perfect. We were within walking distance to all of the main shopping, the theatre itself, and Pike Place Market. The hotel itself is very well polished, service was good, and the room was spotless. We were up on the 24th floor, so street noise was not a problem at all. If you can get a good rate, I would recommend this hotel. Room Tip: Ask for a room on the highest possible floor. It is an expensive property, so shop around for a good... The average part of my stay:This is an average property. The 28th floor was showing some wear.

My junior suite was roomy and decent clean, though the carpets could have used a wash. It was quiet enough and the bed was comfortable.Poor part:The staff was very unpleasant. At check in the young, blond pony tail girl wouldn't give my my platinum upgrade to a suite as promised with the SPG program because the suites were already promised. Contrary to the program rules, she told me the front desk has the power and they give the suites out to people who call ahead. Because I questioned her implementation of the program she put me in a small room overlooking the freeway. I immediately went back down and demanded another room. This clerk was a supervisor. She put me in the junior suite but reminded me it was a junior suite because their suites were already promised (again, a violation of the program rules). As a platinum guest I have access to the club lounge. The facility is nice (I did have to have my key recarded as the folks at check in didn't do it even after I asked) but the offerings are dismal.

The pastry at breakfast was all dry. The coffee machine was nice, but next time I"ll give my SPG business to the Westin and spring the three bucks for a Starbucks. We spent a week here and didn't get much sleep. We had a room that had the connecting doors, and it was really noisy. We could hear EVERYTHING going on in the adjoining room! For such an expensive hotel, this was very disappointing. As mentioned, two scratchy towels were insufficient for the two of us.Excellent workout facility and very friendly staff, but would not stay here again or recommend for those that aren't heavy sleepers. I was in Seattle for a conference. The lobby of this hotel is just beautiful, plenty of really decent art & a wonderful glass collection on display. Our room was in the "tower". I've stayed in giant hotels before & it is usually a nightmare waiting for elevators - not here. Never had to wait more than a minute for an elevator, up or down. Our room was very clean, beds comfortable, heating/cooling system very quiet.

Again, it bugs me that hotels only put 3 bath towels in a room that is a double. Really appreciated the Starbucks coffee & real cream w/comp coffee maker. The hotel was adjacent to the conference center. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night, & had the breakfast buffet once, both were adequate, but it's just a short walk to the Pike Market & I would recommend going there. We also enjoyed the crepe stand right outside the convention center - fantastic! And Cheesecake Factory is just across the street. Every hotel employee we encountered was friendly & helpful. The location is excellent with many activities within walking distance. Upon arrival we were "upgraded" to the living/dining area of a suite with rollaway beds instead of the bedrooms which were booked to other people as regular rooms We had a problem with a lot of noise coming through the locked adjoining doors. We were located on the Club Level, the breakfast was mediocre but the late afternoon snacks were very good. For the last night the hotel said we were not able to stay in the same room and were moved to a regular room.

At this time we found that room was also noisy with sound coming through the walls. I'm not sure I would stay here again.Frontgate, Ballard Launch Augmented Reality App ST.
