One Pound Storage Desiccant Bags what temp in oven and how long Our Storage Desiccant Bag can be placed inside an oven on a low 100-125 degree heat setting for approximately 2 hrs or until particles return to their original size. When drying a desiccant bag in the oven, what temperature setting should be used and how long should they remain in the oven? You would want to set your oven at 100-125 degrees and leave the desiccant bags in the oven approximately for 2 hours or until the particles return to their original size. I'm storing wheels, with tires mounted on them, in sealed plastic garbage bags, to slow the evaporation of the natural oils in the tires.

If I put a bag of Desiccant in each garbage bag to absorb moisture, will they also absorb the oil from the tires? The Storage Desiccant Bags will not absorb the oil from the tires. Are these silica gel packs? If not, what's the active agent inside the pack that absorbs moisture? If it's the rock type, is there dust released by these bags? The Storage Desiccant Bags are not the silica gel pack variety. They use an absorbent form of mineral clay mixed with a very small amount of silicon dioxide to enhance performance. There is a small amount of dust released from the bags when new. I always give the bag a couple shakes after removing from the packaging and prior to placing in the vehicle to prevent dust from getting on the carpet, etc. You could also place the bag on a small piece of paper to prevent dust. Any dust that does get in the vehicle is easily vacuumed up and will not harm any surfaces. My car is a coupe without a trunk. What is the recommended number of Desiccant bags I should put in the interior of this car during storage for 5 months?

Is it necessary to put a bag in the engine bay? You would need 1 desiccant bag per vehicle. You can recharge them once you are done by leaving them out on a dry day in direct sunlight. How do I re activate your desiccant bags? Re-use the bags by drying them out in the oven. Our Storage Desiccant Bag can be placed inside an oven on a low 100-125 degree heat setting for approximately 2 hrs or until particles return to their original size. Perfect for Moving and Storage Water and Dust Resistant Material For Mattresses and Box Springs Queen 76 x 96 King 94 x 96 Twin Xl 54 x 96 By: Dallas Arnell on Nov 11,2016 does what it is supposed to. This is indeed a heavy duty bag. I have student housing where I have in the past provided mattresses for the tenants.When those mattresses are not needed they go into a dusty garage storage environment. I procured these bags to protect them while in storage. As I at times need to move the mattress, it is nice to have a thick bag that does not rip/tear as they are moved around. It is way better then wrapping the bags in plastic wrap. The bags are easy to remove, store, and reuse at a later date Reply to this review By: Lacy on Nov 08,2016 Should have used this way before now This saved our mattress during our last move. We have moved a few times, and our old mattress got so beat up each time, it was awful.

Using this kept our new mattress clean and much better protected. Such a small price to pay to protect such an expensive item! Also, we moved to a much more humid climate and my Grandma advised me to not store a mattress against an outside all inside the house, because it would grow mold, so we used this while it was in storage, worked great! By: Sheralee Manley on Nov 07,2016 Highly Recommend this Item I sure wish we would have had these when we moved from Wyoming to Idaho. At that time, we had a brand new expensive sparkling clean mattress and box spring that we loaded into a U-Haul trailer (just threw blankets over them), and after the bumpy roads over the mountain passes, there were black marks and dust and dirt all over them. These covers will prevent that and keep your mattresses looking awesome through a move. Highly recommend this item. Also, I thing these are large enough to cover a smaller decorated Christmas Tree (for the uber-lazy like me with more storage space than spare time);

also good for covering patio furniture, or storing your patio furniture cushions, etc. By: TJG on Nov 07,2016 perfect solution - easy used this to store mattresses in - keeps bugs, dust, spider webs, water, etc off and out of the mattress. makes moving mattress down the stairs easier too simple basic solution - is like an envelope By: Ashley on Nov 07,2016 Great bags for any protective use This 2 pk of heavy duty mattress bags are nice and thick and such a great deal getting two for this price. I have moved multiple times and have stored my mattresses/box springs temporarily before. Without fail the bags/covers end up ripping or with holes. These should be perfect for the job and I love that I can duct tape/seal the bag perfectly snug and tight around the whatever size the mattress is I choose. By: Shauna  on Nov 07,2016 perfect for storage or moving this is like a huge visqueen baggie It will hold a mattress queen or smaller (you get two in an order) and it is CLEAR I prefer something that I can see through especially for storage so you know what's in it without opening it.
