Occupying the old Starbrie Grocery Store, the Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill has gone through several phases including a barbershop, feed and grain company, wholesaler and mattress company, yet remains a mainstay within Omaha’s nightlife scene. The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill is less than 30 minutes away from Eppley International Airport and is conveniently located to various brand hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts for extended stays for out-of-town guests. Omaha, Nebraska, is accessible via air, train and bus, providing multiple options for guests.
The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill offers space that accommodates 10 to 1,000 guests and has a full service bar and outside patio, which overlooks the Omaha downtown skyline. What You Should Know The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill provides catering services for couples and guests for receptions and engagement parties. It does not provide the venue for wedding ceremonies. Catering services are handled by the venue’s chef and the menu consists of traditional American cuisine, including hors d’oeuvres and entrees. There are no desserts offered on the catering menu. Catering is usually seated as stationed family style. Buffet options are not offered. With the exception of the wedding cake, no outside catering vendors are allowed. Outside alcohol is not allowed either, as the venue has a liquor license and offers house and premium beer, wine and spirits. There are limitations as to what outside vendors are allowed, including tents, photo booths, lighting, draping, audio and florals.
Venue rental includes set up but does not include event break down and clean up. The venue also does not carry liability insurance so it may be best for couples to purchase event protection insurance. The venue has staff that will help couples plan their reception. Parking for The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill is available but valet parking is not offered. The Old Mattress Factory was the perfect place for my husband and I to have our reception and the price was perfect too! We could not believe that this amazing location was kept such a secret and only advertised by word of mouth. Cyndi was so amazing, without her we know our... The food and look of the venue was perfect. Cyndi was a huge help keeping the ceremony moving along. My issues were the air conditioner kept braking and it was triple digits outside.
Also, there were things that they forgot to set our or do. We had a cigar bar and they forgot to... We had our wedding reception here in October and everything was fabulous! Cyndi was amazing to work with and when our dj bailed last minute and sent a replacement she not only stepped in to help calm me down made sure the night stayed on track and was... "Best Wedding Food I've Ever Had" That is what our guests kept saying. We did a burger buffet with all of the toppings & fries/veggies as our sides. We also had a cocktail hour prior to our dinner & that was great too! Have I mentioned the charm that the venue brought to our reception? Everything went perfect on my wedding day! I had no idea that not only would we be paying to rent a reception hall and food, but we also got a wedding planner as well as a nice bonus! Cyndi was extremely helpful in everything we did, and everything was set up to perfection.... I worked with Cindy throughout the whole process of planning the reception.
