Mattress Firm has made a big splash in the local marketplace by taking over 57 Bedding Experts and Back to Bed locations in the greater Chicago area.The Houston-based mattress retailer bought the two bedding chains as part of a $60 million acquisition earlier this year. The company now has more than 1,500 stores, both corporate and franchised, in 36 states. It expects revenue to approach $2 billion a year. Sleepy's, a New York-based company that calls itself the world's largest mattress retailer, opened new stores in Matteson at 4800 W. 211th St. and in Tinley Park's Brookside Marketplace at 7244 W. 191st St.The Hicksville-based company, which has more than 800 showrooms in 14 eastern and mid-Atlantic states and carries a wide selection of mattress brands, got its start in 1931 in Brooklyn.The stores are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Dr. Irene Goldstein will hold a grand opening starting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at her new vein treatment center in Orland Park at 15614 S. The others are in Plainfield and Bridgeview.The new Tony's will feature a Lavazza Cafe, sushi station, juice bar, floral department and fresh salad bar, along with a meat department, deli and bakery.

(We match any competitors price however) Additionally, our miForma memory foam mattresses can ship UPS since they are compressed at the manufacturers and rolled tightly into tubes. If you live in the greater Chicago area, we offer delivery as soon as next day depending on when you order the product and if the products are in stock.
