But you might get a free flat screen thrown in. LOL Just the couch and love seat without tables cost us $2000. Bedroom sets with that many pieces usually run more too. Mattresses can be anywhere from $500-$3000 or more depending on what you get. For cheaper furniture check out Big Lots. They usually have pretty descent prices on their furniture and some of it isn't too bad. You can get recliners there for about $300 but who knows how long they last. Sometimes K-Mart,Target, etc have some pretty descent looking things. When Martha was exclusive there we got the best wooden futon I have ever seen.

I would get over the bedbug phobia (and ringworm doesn't live in furniture) since you can spray to eradicate them (and fleas) if you're not sure for around $15.
