Brampton House V Shaped Anti Bacterial Quilted Pillow Protector White Brampton House Anti-bacterial Pillow White Standard This hotel is in need of a major makeover. Although breakfast was good, housekeeping was poor in that adequate towels were not replaced, coffee maker was not cleaned nor coffee packages replenished. However the major problem was bed bugs, which required an enormous effort to eradicate from our clothes and luggage. We will not return to this hotel in its present state. 402 reviews sorted by: Arrived after 4pm - room was ready. Neighborhood is mostly business and easy to get to where ever we went. The breakfast was great. Two boys (13 & 16) were thrilled to have waffles, eggs and sausage plus much more to choose from. The manager was constatnly refilling and checking everything. After eating at a few places in Toronto and realizing the prices to eat out, we figured it would cost at least $40+ for breakfast. That made staying at this hotel a great deal!

Place was full most nights but we never heard any noises from other travelers. We were here to see baseball, Niagra Falls, and Wonderland. So we were willing to over look some of the small flaws in the building, mostly like the small things in your own home that aren't urgent but need to get done sometime. If you like 4star hotels, don't stay. If you are looking for a place to sleep & have breakfast, this is your place. I will admit that when we pulled up to the hotel, I started to regret my decision to stay here (outside looks a bit worn), but after getting settled in, I felt just fine. We picked this hotel because we were going to Canada's Wonderland and the Toronto area and we got a great deal on our four night stay. The hotel could use a bit of updating (new carpet in the hallways to diffuse the musty smell, new carpet in the rooms since ours wasn't laid correctly and had bumps, and a modern TV), but I thought they had a decent breakfast and our room was always clean. They lobby area is inviting.

Large bathroom sink for all the stuff I had to bring. The front desk was very helpful and it is right off of the highway for easy access. Room Tip: Breakfast is served right off the lobby so we were glad our room was on the first floor. After an 8 hour drive we arrived at the Best Western around 5pm.We were surprised to realize that our room was not ready yet (the check in is supposed to be at 3pm) (Strike #1).They told us that the room would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes… 15 minutes later we were told that it would be ready in 15 minutes (Strike #2).When we finally got our room, the carpet was so wet that we asked our kids to stay on the beds (Strike #3).As if this was not enough, the room was not cleaned properly, we found some food left over from the previous guests (Strike #4).The following morning, we went in the breakfast area and once again, it was not that clean. I understand that some customers did not clean-up when they left but someone from the Best Western should take care of this when it happens (Strike #5).

My wife was so angry that she told the kids to grab their things so that we could leave asap! Room Tip: don't go there ! Travelers are raving about these Brampton hotels Hampton Inn by Hilton Brampton Toronto Hilton Garden Inn Toronto / Brampton Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brampton I stayed at best western hotels as much as possible, especially because I like the mattresses but I was very disappointed in the Brampton hotel on May 23, 2011. I slept with chairs in front of each door because I did not feel safe. This hotel is showing its age, very old except for the front area. I found my room to be not worth the money, most of the breakfast except a slice of toast when in the garbage. My waffle did not cook in the time on the waffle iron. I could not get tea. The boiled eggs was cooked too much, the rest of the breakfast did not taste any better, paper plate and fork. The manager called me but only offer me another night at that hotel because I wrote a review.

I will never stay at this hotel again. I feel I should have been offer another night at a another of their hotels or my money back. I have since been going back to Brampton alot and staying at other hotels, I did check out the other hotels while in Brampton and think I found a great hotel to stay at next time. The Guelph, Midland and Simcoe Best Western Hotel breakfasts were amazing, they are all great hotels. I don't mind paying extra to stay in good hotels. I will not go back to this hotel and my daughter has move to Brampton. They are missing out on a lot of business from me. The only thing the hotel had going for it was great front desk person. They need to be renovate (very old and smelly), great location and room size great. Since staying at this hotel I now do not feel the way I use to about using Best Western hotel whenever possible. I now check any other hotel first. Best Western hotel was my prefers hotel only before. Room Tip: See date in review Upon our arrival at 9:00 pm to check in, we were greeted by the on duty clerk and handed the keys to our room.

As we walked down the hallway we were struck by an intensely foul odor as we found our way to our room. The room was neat but infested with flies and mosquitoes. We immediately requested assistance and eventually were handed a can of spray to scare the bugs away. That was our first night. The following morning the breakfast area was chaos. There was not sufficient seating available and the area was untidy. Sickly children ran amok, coughing carelessly over the food layout while being ignored by their parents (in their pajamas). We were unable to stomach it.We left at 10:00 am and left NO "do not disturb" sign on the door and returned that evening at 11:00 pm. Our room had not been made. The beds were undone, the towels on the bathroom floor, etc. It was painfully obvious that housekeeping had missed our room. When confronted with this news, the front desk clerk was somewhat apologetic, shaking his head in disbelief, yet unwilling to resolve this situation in any way. His solution was to bring me some clean pool towels and to tell me that he would give housekeeping a stern talking to in the morning (housekeeping was off duty at the time).

Apparently there were no available rooms in our category so giving us a clean room was out of the question. My wife did not take this news well. She walked up there and demanded that her complaint be written down and both the manager's and the corporate office's number be given to her. Upon her promise to raise hell over the totally unacceptable situation we were being forced into, they finally relented and offered us a suite for the night. Thanks to Raj who was the only one there willing to try and make this better. We will never stay at a Best Western hotel again. Anyone that says this was even a half decent stay is a straight up liar, I arrived at the motel late evening early morning after a long flight to be welcomed (not) by a bitter rude employee or manager at the front desk, who had a problem with answering simple questions about the motel and got bent out of shape cause I asked him to make change to use the motels vending machines, I'm not speaking about all the staff but all it takes is one to make the rest look bad, word of advise, I know it sucks working the night shift but don't take it out on your customers, it's bad for business.
