The owners were very friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast for us. We loved that it was so close to the downtown district with all kinds of shops and local restaurants. The manor is in a prime location just one block from Lake Simcoe and a couple of blocks from downtown Barrie within walking distance of restaurants. The guest rooms are nicely decorated and the beds have wonderful (super comfortable mattresses)! We mostly interacted with Bob... This year we have added an extra night just so we can go and relax. We always get the large room which is fantastic. Even if there is another couple staying you can never hear them.
