From community service in Northern California to Town Hall meetings in San Diego the Vietnam Veterans of America is committed to so many wonderful causes. However the VVA cannot do it alone, your donations of household items can assist VVA in their amazing efforts. For instance, your household item donations can help Chapter 391 of Sonora, California have the funds to continue their community service work of distributing baskets that contain fixings for traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to needy veterans and senior citizens. Our veterans need the support that VVA provides. Such efforts like that of the Central Coast Chapter 982, who holds annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans day events, give the community an opportunity to show our Veterans the love and respect they deserve.
