Let our team of junk removal experts make your project of debris removal, effortless and painless. Todd Yergens, life-long southeastern Wisconsin native, has been growing and expanding the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Wisconsin franchise since 2004. In the spring of that year, he read an article about an expanding organization of professional junk disposal specialists called 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. Todd knew they had the right combination of skills, experience, and dedication to re-invent the way people in the Milwaukee area disposed of their unwanted junk. He put together a team of organized, well-trained, courteous and professional waste removal specialists and set out to deliver the best service in the business. Based on his success in helping over 10’s of thousands local customers rid themselves of unwanted junk, Todd expanded from the Northwest Milwaukee market to service 10 county areas, including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, Washington, Ozaukee, Fond Du Lac, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Racine, and Kenosha counties.

Using a “customer first” model of professionalism and a commitment to providing the best, most thorough junk removal service in the industry, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? continues to be the local leader in junk removal and disposal. When asked what sets 1-800-GOT-JUNK? apart, Todd says “We are a locally owned franchise that provides the best service in the business. Our uniformed drivers are punctual, professional, and experts at what they do and we provide that brand of personal service that people have come to expect with the support of a large, national organization behind us. It’s a great combination.”franchise also prides itself on its eco-consciousness. They recycle more than 60% of the debris they remove and donate items with life left in them to local charitable organizations like The Salvation Army, Good Will, and Blessed Again. Any property of yours that is donated is done so in your name and you will receive a donation receipt. It’s a great way to get rid of your unwanted junk and know that it is being disposed of in a responsible, socially conscientious fashion.

If you saw the crew from Butler's 1-800-GOT-JUNK? on the cable TV show "Hoarders," then you saw only a small part of what the franchise does. Todd Yergens' company has appeared twice on the A&E show - last April and just this February. The more recent appearance showed the company taking more than six dump truck loads (10-12 tons) of clothes, toys, furniture and bedding, out of a Milwaukee house.

FOX 6's Gus Gnorski came to watch us do a 40 truckwas recently called out to the old White Eagle Hotel to clear out several years’ worth of neglected items. The hotel became a rooming house toward the end of its life, but that was ten years ago! With no power in the building and so much debris to haul out, this was a difficult job.  We brought in generators and lights and completed the job safely in three days. We were able to recycle 70% of what we hauled out. FOX 6’s Gus Gnorski joined us and reported on the 40 truckload job. Click here to see the Fox report.Helps Hurricane Katrina Victims In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we worked with local churches to find ways to help victims cope with the devastation caused by the storm. We decided to make the long trip to Louisiana to take supplies, assist in the clean up, and help provide displaced residents the opportunity to relocate. With the support of family, friends and the community, we received twelve tons of supplies within forty-eight hours, which we then loaded up before hitting the road.

After determining where help was needed most, we found a distribution center being run in conjunction with the National Guard. We dropped off the twelve tons of supplies and helped the National Guard transport one hundred pallets of supplies to the distribution center. In the following days, we helped families whose homes needed to be gutted because they had been under six feet of water. Junk Trucks on Parade We enjoy being part of the Milwaukee community. Whenever possible we take part in parades, festivals or community cleanups. The whole junk pickup crew looks forward to decorating the junk trucks and getting into costume. Here we are at the Waukesha County Fair. Bed Bugs are in Milwaukee We have seen a large increase in the amount of junk removal jobs that we have done recently in Milwaukee and Waukesha that have been because of a bedbug infestation. Bedbugs are a bloodsucking insect that can go without eating for up to 12 months and can spread throughout a house or an apartment complex very quickly!

The team here at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is highly trained and has all the proper equipment to remove and haul away all items that have been effected by bedbugs. It’s not only important to have the proper equipment to haul away the items but to also insure that when you are removing the infested items that you don’t spread the bedbugs to other tenants or parts of the house. Equally important while removing and hauling away the items is using discretion while doing the job. The last thing you need while dealing with a bedbug infestation is for other tenants or neighbors to become aware of the situation. Moving in Milwaukee and area? Did you know that we’re moving into the moving business? That’s right – we’ve opened up You Move Me Milwaukee, a full-service local moving company.
