Redecorating a room, moving into a new house, or downsizing? Consider donating your gently used furniture to the Habitat ReStore. Your donated furniture will enjoy a second life furnishing a home, and you will contribute to Habitat’s efforts to build houses, communities, and hope in Alamance County. We now have 2 locations to serve you better. Our Burlington ReStore is located at 1176 N. Church Street, Burlington.

Our Mebane ReStore is located at 1288 South Fifth Street, Mebane. At the ReStore, we sell new and used furniture to the public, do-it-yourselfers, homeowners, renters, students, decorators, and more. We use ReStore profits to continue building simple, affordable, energy-efficient houses in Alamance County. As more than 17 percent of Alamance County residents live below the federal poverty line, your donation helps where it’s most needed: at home and in the home. Remember, donating is eco-friendly too! Your furniture donations are both critical elements in Habitat’s “recycle – reuse – repurpose” efforts and a major way to reduce the amount of usable goods going into the local landfill. You will enjoy the benefits of generosity because all donations to the ReStore are tax-deductible. Upon donating, we will provide you with a ReStore donation receipt that you can save for tax season. You will not only help families here in our community, but you will also dispose of your extra furniture in an environmentally responsible way.
