Temperature was one of the most important issues our product designers focused on when we designed the Greywing mattress. Our responsive comfort layer, the top layer of the mattress, is open cell which makes it ultra breathable. It provides the perfect layer of comfort and support and is allows you to sleep cooler than a traditional full memory foam mattress. We also use an adaptive fabric for the mattress cover, which works similarly to sportswear that wicks away heat while you're asleep. What type of base do I need for the Greywing? The GREYWING was designed to sit on any firm flat surface that will hold your weight plus the weight of a mattress evenly disbursed.
We’ve tested the Greywing on a slat base, box spring base and the floor. Does GREYWING eliminate partner disturbance? Greywing provides more movement isolation than a traditional spring mattress. In designing the sleep-surface, we focused on balancing motion isolation with the common memory-foam complaint of feeling stuck. If your partner is anything more than 10 cm away from you, you will neither feel nor hear their movement. Over the years I have spent thousands of $ on expensive mattresses but still woke up with sore ribs and back. I then came across Greywing. At first I was unsure due to how affordable it was. So as they claimed money back if not suitable within 100 days I purchased one. Omg best thing I've ever done. Since day one I have woken in no pain and so well rested I never want to get out of bed. I highly recommend Greywing. I struggle with back and neck issues, always had the spring type mattress and never could get a solid 2-3 hours sleep with out repositioning the body to reduce aches/pains.
