I have stayed at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Animal Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Boardwalk, and The Coronado Springs (which was my least favorite!) I found that the Contemporary had the most comfortable beds and rooms, for that matter. Am I missing something? We have re-booked the contemporary, but I wonder about the placed that I have not been as of yet.
Please give me your opinion! When was the last time you stayed at the Resorts you mention ? some Resorts have had rehabs, new beds included. I was at Wilderness Lodge in Oct ( and many, many times in the past ) I really like the beds there. I was also at Coronado Springs in June and Loved the Beds. All the rooms have had a recent rehab My wife hates hard mattresses, and I hate soft ones, but we both thought that the mattresses at the Beach Club were very good. They are somehow soft the way she likes them, yet they are supportive enough for me that I don't feel as if I am sleeping in a hole. The Swan and Dolphin also had good mattresses; I think they are the Starwood heavenly beds. This is a funny question. Well,not funny ha ha,but funny ironic. I've stayed at moderates,and deluxe+Disney Villas. I've never once noticed the quality of the beds. I'm so exhausted at the end of the day,that I only remember lying down,and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. we have stayed at most of the disney resorts even the value ones and never had a bad nights sleep and i suffer from degenerative dic disorder so i need a good bed.as another person said by the time you hit the room its off to dream land... i think you picked a good resort anway.
at any rate have a great trip ;o) Speaking of Disney beds,we've stayed at Old Key West twice,and the beds are very high there.Some people have to request a step stool to get into them. I just take myself and hurl myself onto the bed.Once there,it's comfortable,but if you were to fall off,it's a long way down......... Wouldn't Disney get their mattresses from one source? Wouldn't they all be the same, with the exception of wear and tear? A lot depends on when the last rehab was.
